Came at 11:45 when was not busy had two separate tickets and was told they could not serve our food at once. My food came out and then 20 minutes later my friends food came out cold. Was told by cashier company policy to not look at split checks as one table.

We were extremely disappointed. It took 55 minutes to get out food. Asked twice, 20 minutes apart, and were told that our order was next. Also told that 50 minutes was the standard time get get our order.Timed two other customers' orders and their orders took about 30 minutes to get. Will NOT go back as the food is not worth waiting that long.

Went in to order and the girl behind the counter ignored me. She seemed very happy, just didn’t want to take my order.

Came here twice. The first time my order took a while to come out. Just had to be patient. This second time I expected to wait a while again. But this time the kitchen lost my ticket. I asked them before to see if they called my name, Waiter said they were still making it. Wasn’t until another 20 minutes they notified me the kitchen lost my ticket. And since it was after 11am, they coudlnt make my burrito i placed during breakfast hours lol. I’ll leave this place alone for a while.

Union Market has become an extension of my living room. It is my go-to for every scenario from having a glass of wine and reading a book inside at the bar to meeting a group of friends for happy hour and dinner on the patio. I just got back from lunch and tried their gochujang chicken soup - best soup I've ever had!

Vegans, vegetarians, and allergy suffers beware - they served me meat when I ordered a vegan chili. I ordered a vegan chili and was served one with meat. Who knows what attention they give to their other dishes? After receiving the dish, I asked if there was meat in it and was told it was vegan, but eventually later confirmed there was meat. They apologized, but this is unacceptable.

Haven't been here since I heard about their mustard gas incident (google it) and don't plan to ever go back. The owners never even made a statement after endangering their staff and customers.

Great local market to shop with delicious freshly prepared food and a small bar to grab a drink from, while you wait.

Sorely underwhelmed by this experience. The notice of a 45-minute wait when we arrived didn't dispel us, as we patiently enjoyed our drinks and took a look at the storefront on the other side. Other patrons waited with children in tow, eventually inquiring about their meal, which arrived 5-10 minutes later. Four kitchen staff manned the back of the house, yet somehow food hardly trickled out to the dine-in customers, less slowly for to go customers. We ordered a French dip, an Italian sandwich, and a pimento dip, but only the sandwiches came out. When I brought it up, the server offered to give it to us to go. How this was missed is beyond me, since they had ample staff and one was there SOLELY to manage the timing of tickets. Perhaps a new system or a more capable employee should be assigned this responsibility. The food was objectively good, the French dip offered a made-in-house horseradish and simple jus, the Italian had a slight spice with cherry pepper which impressed bite by bite. Unfortunately, I can't say the quality of the food, nor apologies of the servers could ever make up for the poor execution. I read other reviews that pointed to this, and I initially scoffed, but now I must relent and agree with such accurate depictions of inadequate service.I may indulge in their food again, but until some real changes take place with the back of the house, I'd prefer not wait around.
