I walked in at 1pm to get a fresh brewed coffee but they were out of coffee and only doing Americano’s. You’re a coffee shop but out of coffee???? Bagel was average and customer service mediocre

Great local coffee house with tasty food options. I’m always in the mood for all-day breakfast items when I’m on a work trip, so I tried the pork sausage, egg and cheese on sourdough toast, and a delicious latte. Food and coffee were outstanding. It’s obvious the staff puts care in the prep of every sandwich. The toast was toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch, eggs were lightly seasoned with pepper before whisking, and the cheese was nice and “melty”. Get your order “for here” , and Chill to the beats of new and old school jams while you enjoy this little local gem.

Major Taylor Cycling Club of Virginia looks to support minority businesses as it takes Excursions through the state of Virginia. This weekend Urban Hang Suite was stop of choice from the Short Pump area down to view a the Manchester Slave Dock. This cafe is a meeting of the minds as the community gathers to share some time over coffee, a breakfast sandwich or a muffin. Burlap sacks from multiple countries in the Motherland hang on the wall along with eclectic artwork to give a pleasing view of the bustling atmosphere that you ears hear from the conversations around or you are having. Urban Hang Suite provides an excellent place to experience Coffee, Community and Culture and MTCCVA will look to start closer to this location to experience more of the ambiance of this facility.

Prompt service, delicious food, outstanding coffee (I had a cortado), fun and warm atmosphere (great music and I enjoyed seeing/hearing the staff interactions with customers and each other). Plus the prices were reasonable. Def recommend if you need to get something quick/delish during a conference stay downtown.

From the time you walk into the door- the ladies at the front are so sweet and accommodating. Seeing that we had our kids with us- They welcomed us with menus and told us we could get comfy and make it a more stress free experience.
The atmosphere is very calming and cool. Lots of “vibes” literally and such cute decor.
The menu has a great selection for picky eaters like me and super simple ingredients! GREAT PRICES! GREAT FOOD! Got turkey bacon and honey butter toast and both were SOOO GOOD. Also, gotta throw props to my girl that made my pumpkin spice latte. Starbucks ain’t got nothing on her 😂 I’m sad I won’t be able to get it for a while since I no longer live in Richmond, but this place- HIGHLY recommend and hope to visit next year again when we come back to visit family!

Urban Hang Suite is such a vibe. I stopped in for a sausage, egg, and cheese on white toast with a boss latte (since I'm a boss in the making)—both hit the spot. The staff made me feel right at home (even broke into song while I was there 👀). The energy is welcoming, the food is solid, and the drinks are creative. I liked it so much I even grabbed a gift card for someone else. Definitely one of those Richmond spots you want to keep coming back to.
