We love the V-8 dish. We try to order something else, but always end up with V-8.

I’ve came to this restaurant for years. The food is always consistent and great. That pet has not changed.

The service and atmosphere has changed however for the worse. The staff was rude and short and we had to wait over 45 minutes for half of our order to arrive…which consisted of 3 Pho soups.

If you’re looking for great food and nothing else-this is it.

One of the best overall Vietnamese places around town, especially beyond the typical phô. Been going for 11 years. Extensive menu. Excellent service, food quality and portion sizes. N9 (Mi Bûn Laçai) pictured.

As a vietnamese person:
There are a few good places in Richmond for phở - but this place is the only restaurant in Richmond I trust for authentic and delicious Vietnamese foods beyond phở. Their BBH soup, bánh xèo, chả giò & áp chảo cà ri are delicious.

During a recent training trip, we decided to stop for lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant and opted for the Bun Dac Biet (Special Vermicelli Combo).

Upon tasting the dish, we were pleasantly surprised; it was the best Vietnamese food we’ve had in Virginia thus far. The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam. However, we ultimately rated the meal four stars instead of five due to the overall experience.

The service was impressively quick — our order arrived within five minutes. However, while speed is commendable, it did leave us wanting more substance in our dishes. For $17, the Bun Dac Biet featured thin slices of chicken, thin slices of pork, an egg roll, fresh vegetables, and a generous portion of vermicelli.

Coming from a region known for its exceptional Vietnamese cuisine, I expected a little more protein for the price. In my opinion, the dish would be more appropriately priced at around $13 given the quantity served.

In summary, while the taste and service were commendable, the portion size relative to the price left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. If you’re in the area and looking for delicious Vietnamese food, this spot is worth a visit — just keep an eye on the pricing!

Ok pho ga, think they have changed owners?? Something is different. Noodles thin and a bit too soft and less chicken than previously.

Need another CLEAN restroom so you don't need to wait in line for 1.

Nothing exceptional with the pho but will do in a pinch. Better pho choices nearby.
