I will not be returning to this location.While shopping in the store, I had to listen to the cashier (older man) making gross remarks to another old man he was ringing up about young girls and their “little outfits” walking around outside.Despite waiting around in the store long enough for a different cashier to come up, I had no luck and had to check out with this older man who had made these creepy comments. He stared at me the entire time I was checking out and then after I was finished paying, he asks “wait, are you 21? “ And then yelled to someone behind me if he thinks I’m 21. Really?? Maybe check my ID before hand… so unprofessional.

Immediately as we walked in Al asked if there was anything he could help us with. He made it such a great experience & my boyfriend & I really appreciated it. Definitely deserves a raise. I can’t imagine what alcohol store workers have to deal with lol

When asking if the store had a particular bourbon in stock, I rudely was told no. The gentleman with purple in his hair barely looked at me yelling “NO”. I asked if he knew of any other stores that may have it in stock. I was rudely given the same response. I was then trapped in another conversation with another gentleman continuing to talk about how the bourbon was sold out hours ago. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service this store has to offer. I will not be returning to this store. Customer service education should be provided to the staff.
I rarely leave an ABC with everything on my shop list. The Fall hard-to-find is elder flower. In Summer it was cucumber vodka. Fortunately staffs are very nice about checking inventory at other stores but unfortunately it takes several minutes to do it, a pain in the neck when the line is long.

Of the ABC stores in the area, you would assume the store at the upscale shopping center would have the best selection, most knowledgeable staff, and cleanest storefront. This is not the case at the Willow Lawn ABC store. You would do better to visit the ABC store on Main Street at VCU which is in a worse neighborhood but has friendlier, more knowledgeable, and more attentive staff, as well as a better selection. The Broad Street location in Scott's Addition probably has the best selection of the area's ABC stores.
