I went to Wake yesterday morning on my way to work. I had a Dirty Chai with Oat milk and the Caprese biscuit. The Chai wasn't. Not my favorite in the city but it was definitely better than some other area shops I have tried. All in all, I would recommend it and if I'm in the area I would get it again. The Caprese biscuit sounded better than it taste. It wasn't awful but I wouldn't order it again. I will try some other options from them. They only had pastries with chocolate available when I was there (not a fan of chocolate) so I would be open to trying their non chocolate options.

This is a very cool repurposed building. Coffee was great - we got Chai lattes with oat milk. They have oat and soymilk as non-dairy options. The breakfast food was excellent and came out quickly. We got each a cheese and egg biscuit sandwich and my daughter had a plain croissant that she devoured. Great service as well. Everyone wore masks that covered their noses

This place is absolutely one of my favorites. The staff was sociable and attentive. The place has a nice feel to it. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I liked.

Delicious coffee and friendly staff. Set in an old-school cafeteria style setting, from the metal and glass doors to the walk-up counter, the cafe is very homey and reminiscent. Plus the chocolate croissant was light and flavorful. I asked if they could make a cortado, and with instructions it was perfect. Outdoor seating was a plus in the era of CV. I'll be back next time in Richmond.

I’m in town for work and it’s a struggle to find places that are actually open in downtown right now. I’m so happy this coffee shop is open! The coffee is fantastic and so are the breakfast sandwiches. The owner is also incredibly nice. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in town.

Everyone at our table was very satisfied. Nothing but pleasant experiences here. The bill was decent. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Kansas City.

In town for day on business, stumbled upon this cafe. Cold brew coffee was solid and breakfast croissant was 10/10. Fresh baked and hand crafted by the owner right in front of me.

Delicious sandwiches and baked goods. A very friendly place. I hope they can reopen.

Great sandwiches--the Reuben is my fave, but all the selections here are fresh and delish. Wade is the owner and he is also on the grill, so everything is on point! 5 stars.

This place has the best breakfast sandwiches in the downtown area. Not only are they fresh and delicious in taste and are very filling.
