Terrible coffee, very slow service. We left after 30 minutes waiting for coffee and cream. Nice open and inviting environment but that doesn’t make up for it.

Hotel tavern. Not enough staff. Food was adequate but nothing special. We were too exhausted to find a restaurant outside of the hotel. We reserved with an open table and that confused the server.

My wife and I are vegan and was surprised to see a vegan dish on the menu. "Veg Head Dirty Rice" One of my meat eating friends ordered it as well and loved it. When we come back to RVA, we will stay at the Omni and eat dinner at the Westham Tavern.

Unfortunately, they were out of avocados for avocado toast and no adjustments could be made to the grits in another. They seem to be unaware that some people choose not to eat meat, or are gluten intolerant. The menu is tone deaf for anything other than mainstream eating. The garnishes were "tired" and the bright spot for us was Stewart, our waiter. We won't dine here again.

Crab soup was delicious. Rockfish was also very good, although the portion was a little large for me--not Westham's fault! Cornbread was also very good. Service was very good; attentive without being obtrusive. I look forward to returning.

It was a low traffic night for the restaurant but it was great benefit for our group. We were playing catch up after a recent relocation and they were in town for business. Our server was appropriately attentive- no delays and not overly present (as sometimes that interrupts great conversations). He was perfect. Food and drinks were great!

I grabbed dinner here after an event. It was the restaurant in the hotel I was staying at (the Omni Richmond). I was equal parts exhausted and hungry so I just grabbed a chicken sandwich and fries to go. Both were exceptionally yummy. The sandwich was huge!

We went here on Valentines Day after making reservations on Open Table. It took 20+ mins to just get someone to come to the front to seat us, and when they came they said that they were overbooked, and had 190 people in the restaurant and Open Table was supposed to be stopping bookings at 12pm earlier that day. He was saying it shouldn't have let us book our reservation. They still cleared off a table for us and sat us down. The server came over and said it would be 2 minutes and he would grab us some water but we ended up waiting another 10 minutes, put in our full order, which they were out of items as well. And as we were waiting for our drinks, we overheard another table say that had been waiting 2 hours with no food and another couple got up and left so we decided to do the same. I'm not sure who dropped the ball here, but it was a rough start to our Valentines Day date. We spent an hour at a restaurant, and didn't even get water. Had to leave and find somewhere else to go.

The night we visited Westham they had a problem with their reservation system. They were over booked. A big credit goes to the restaurant manager and his staff to work around the problem of over booking but this issue did have an impact on service and the timeliness of bringing food to customers.

Save your time. Total waste! Sat for 25 minutes before getting even a drink. Server wasn't any good. We both got the wrong food after waiting an hour. And was told it would be 25 minutes to be corrected since we got chicken (which we didn't order chicken in the first place). Won't waste my time with this place again.

Some was great some not so much. We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and the crab wasn't super fresh and the dip lacked flavor. My boyfriend had the flatbread bbq pizza which was also flavorless but my boyfriend liked it. The drinks were good but I usually like to try a different second drink but didn't because it took a very long time to get service although the servers were very friendly, our first server had to leave for training-?? Then we sat for awhile. I did like my dinner, the slider trio, one chicken, the best of the three, one burger and one crab cake. I was expecting the crab to again not taste fresh but with the bun and aioli I couldn't tell. I liked the buns the best, very soft and fresh. My boyfriend had a burger which he liked but the fries tasted like the oil was very old. We had a s'more for dessert and it was eh again kind of flavorless.

Delicious food, awesome server, decent pricing, and convenient location!! I will be visiting again when in the area.

Great restaurant and bar inside the Omni in downtown Richmond. We had a table for 8 family and friends to celebrate my son's college graduation. Bar cocktails were excellent. Menu had variety and all tasted great. Good value for the money. Also, park at the garages across from the hotel on either street - much cheaper than the valet. For 8 of us, my bill was a little over $400 including a 20% tip I chose for good service. That's $50 per head and most of us had two cocktails, shared three table appetizers and each of us had an entree meal. That's great value and experience for a nice and upscale restaurant. (Two of us were driving and so sodas each - which explains the lower per head tab).
