Service was great. Loved the "porch" area. I was disappointed that the breakfast potatoes weren't gluten free. They are listed as such on the menu, but they are fried in a shared fryer, so they are not gluten free. I ordered the grits instead, which tasted really weird. I couldn't pinpoint the spice they used. Just stick with salt and butter.
I find that hotel restaurants generally are just satisfactory but this restaurant is the exception. It was an overall outstanding dining experience. It is located in an atrium and beautifully decorated in a farmhouse or French countryside setting and one's feels instantly comforted by the ambience. Even the cloth napkins are soft and cozy. The waitstaff was friendly, and attentive. We ate breakfast there and the food was delicious, plentiful, and artfully arranged on beautiful...
Hotel tavern. Not enough staff. Food was adequate but nothing special. We were too exhausted to find a restaurant outside of the hotel. We reserved with an open table and that confused the server.
