My second fave croissant in RVA (first is Up all night). Must try.
The absolute best croissant!!! At it slightly warmed, plain. Chef’s kiss!!
Love the stain glass. Friendly staff. Good good. Great coffee
When I saw Whisk from the street, I knew it would be really good!
And, it is!!! Our drip coffees were very rich and satisfying as well made brewed coffee should be! When I looked at the pastry case, it reminded me of a Wayne Thibaud painting- from his 1963 Cakes & Pastry Shop paintings! That series is a favorite of mine, I own one, and, anything in that genre, is a visual treat! But, our pastries were so delicious, beautiful, and we bought more to take with us! We now live on a soon to be known farm, near Waynesboro, and everything here is new to us, transplants from Boston! Filled cookies, pate brisee', filled with pastry creams, a la viennoiserie!!! Fruit tarts, and we had breakfast sandwiches, delicious!!!
First time visiting. Patio was a great outdoor space nestled behind the shop. Really peaceful despite road noise and construction on Main St. Cafe au Lait and chocolate almond croissant were excellent. Staff was friendly and gave great, quick service.
Very sneaky with their pricing…actual cost is not what’s reflected on the menu. Was charged twice of what was listed on the menu and they didn’t care. Seems like a dishonest business.
Excellent espresso and breakfast sandwiches. Croissants are dangerously good.

So delicious. Cortado and cappuccino w extra shot were perfect. The pastries!? Ugh, so good. We had the chocolate almond croissant, a ham and swiss croissant, and a ham, egg, cheese and tomato croissant sandwich. I'm grateful we have to drive here or I'd be here every day. So crisp, fragile, unctuous, not overly sweet... Looking forward to returning sooner than later. Thank you!

I had the pleasure to meet one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. She was the cashier, she was efficient and very skilled at her trade. It was refreshing to see someone take pride in their work. Keep up the good with Juliet.

We ordered two The Richmonder sandwiches on baguette to go this morning for 9:30am pick up. The baguette was stale, the cheddar cheese was old, the tomatoes were tasteless and there was almost no aioli on the sandwich. Unfortunately we’re driving south after pick up or I would have taken them back.
WHISK is a BAKERY serving its sandwiches on stale bread. Yes, it was "early" on a Monday morning (don't bakers get up early to bake bread?) but if you don't have fresh bread and ingredients for your sandwiches DON'T SERVE SANDWICHES!!!!!
Pretty horrific.
We stopped in to try out this coffee shop, it’s very cozy, and nice . I ordered the white mocha latte and a coconut macaroon , we also ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant .bacon egg and cheese .
My first experience was absolutely great , todays experience and the last experience I would not recommend the sandwich’s here , some of the bakery items are old and hard like the cinnamon rolls , caked with butter, ever sense leaving I’ve had the worst stomach ache . Nice staff but selling old stuff for the price is insane
