“Fantastic food!! I stumbled upon this place on GoogleMaps and very glad I did. I had the Trini bowl and my wife had the club. Extremely generous portions for pretty much the same price you'd pay at a chain lunch place. We also got bottled drinks and cookies. Taste was amazing!!! The new owner is a chef from Trinidad and chatted with us while she made our orders. The only reason I didn't rate atmosphere at a 5 is that they only have a couple little tables, but this place is as advertised, a take-out spot. Don't be put off by the lack of fancy signage - they are a little cafe in an office building. The food quality makes up for any lack of fancy decor. Plus you'll be supporting a local business!!“

“Sunrise Caribbean Cuisine
I've never had Caribbean food. My friends and I have been tasting everything in Chef's Suite.

1. The beef Stew, served with yellow rice, was a unique blend of flavors. While the rice was a tad salty, I received more than the promised 7 pieces. The dish was delicious and even better the next day.
2. Half of a piece of corn nothing special - not much taste.
3. Spinach—I could not eat it. I love spinach and salt, but this was beyond what I could eat. I tasted it the next morning to make sure I was right.
4. Honey Jerk Wings—I did like the flavor, and the meat just fell off of the bone, but they were pricey, and I tasted them all night and into the next day.

Despite the total bill amounting to $53.00, which I consider a little steep, I am eager to return. The reason? There are other intriguing items on the menu that I'm excited to try.

Must mention the young lady working at the front desk gave exceptional service and was of great help. She is another reason I will be back.“
