This is the food vender inside the veil brewing co. (forest hill). I ordered the 3 carne asada taco ($13) and it was ready after about 15 minutes. The ribeye steak was tender but could've used some more seasoning and a lime. Dipping the tacos into the salsa really helped add a missing flavor/sauce. Surprisingly good tacos for the cost. Love this place. Located inside Veil Brewing. Grab a taco, quesadilla or something good to eat and don't forget the draft. The Birria quesadilla are yummy. I had the Carne Asada tacos and always grab Arroz con Pollo for the road. The prices are reasonable (honestly for the quality and quantity it's amazing) The food taste delicious, the atmosphere is a vibe (plenty of seating upstairs/downstairs and outside) It was quick to order, the staff was friendly and helpful on choosing options. The food came out fast. Check it out if you're riding by. Be sure to check the times, I always want tacos on Monday and they are closed. *they also welcome children

Amazing food that you can pair easily with a beer (gose!). I've had it twice now and I'm considering takeout

Ordered chicken tacos, chicken nachos, and a carne asada quesadilla. I really liked all of it, however, the chicken chunks on the nachos were a bit too big so many of the chips went without chicken. Also, i have had better quesadillas (these were lacking a bit of flavor). I would say this is more tex-mex (which I love). Can't wait to sit there and eat at some point.

The burrito del mar is a life necessity. We are so glad that we have y tu mama on southside. Get nachos, some guacamole, a libation from the veil, sit outside in the sunshine to wait for the del mar that is headed your way. If you are not that hungry, soft tacos offer a wide range of individual flavor profiles that reach far past three cups of salsa labeled mild, medium, or hot. Epic afternoon.

We came in on Easter Sunday about 4 PM with a party of 7. We were surprisingly able to find a table despite it being very busy. The shrimp quesadillas and black bean nachos were delicious. Unfortunately the carne asada tacos were greatly lacking. The meat was very over cooked. The toppings from the nachos definitely made them much better but the meat was very tough. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will likely return again and would recommend.

Best food I've ever had in a brewery! I would go there simply to get the food even if I weren't drinking beer. The nachos for the best.

I went from not knowing about this place to it quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite places to grab tacos. Let me break it down for you. This restaurant is located inside of a brewery. We decided to order so many different things we got Birria tacos, nachos and guacamole! Everything was delicious but my first personal favorite was the Birria tacos and the nachos. The Birria tacos had a delicious, crunchy flavorful shell that was accompanied by the best consume I've ever had. The nachos were fully loaded. The ingredients were fresh. The chips were lightly salted, and the guacamole was absolutely divine. I would eat here again in a heartbeat if you're in the area or stopping by to get a beer at the brewery you definitely need to check this place out.

It's a cool restaurant that feels like a cafeteria. I made the mistake of thinking this was an authentic Mexican restaurant. It's not.. The Carne Asada tacos are made with flour tortillas. I believe the steak is precooked and not made to order. My tacos were done 1min after I ordered them. I could be wrong on this, but im not a

Visited last night great food and compliments the beers well! Had the tacos and arroz con pollo both were full of flavor and even with several orders the wait time was short.
