Today was my first visit to Zorch Pizza and it was an awesome experience. I stopped by around lunchtime and dined in. The pizza itself was great, some of the best I’ve had in RVA. Our waitress (I didn’t catch her name, but she had glasses) was very friendly and attentive. The whole place has such a cool vibe. The mix of arcade machines, TMNT decor, and nostalgic energy makes you want to hang out for a while. Zorch, I'll be back again someday!

I usually don’t leave reviews. I called this place to ask if they had slices. They said the had 5-in detail. I got there less than ten minutes later, they said, kitchen closed. It was 9:30 and they close at 10. Nothing about this over the phone. Won’t be going back. Terrible communication.
EDIT: In regards to their response, I did not call before 9pm. It was 9:15. The kitchen closing was not said on the phone. When we got there, they did not seem to care.

I had heard great things about this pizza place, but I was reluctant to pay $30 for a pie. Well, I finally gave in and ordered one and boy was I disappointed. Nothing special, just an ordinary tasting pizza that you typically get at any Italian place.

Really don’t understand all the positive reviews. Our first time was grand opening. The pizza was so soggy and covered with grease. It was disgusting. Decided to give it another shot this evening. Walked in and the person said sit anywhere but everywhere was littered with dirty dishes. So while we waited, I witnessed a person in a black and white tank top jersey sneeze all over a rack of dough. We requested a booth and were told it’s not clear and would take a bit. We’re like ok. All the while getting snide looks and sighs because they had to clear the booth. Back to the kitchen, I see another person with a dirty mop and bucket next to the same dough rack splashing all around. We debated leaving a couple times. We were finally seated. Handed our water bottle and in the bottom of that bottle.. food particles floating around. Around that time the person comes over and we inquire about a pizza and they said they were out of that and 3 other items. We decided to leave at that point. Never again. Dirty place, terrible attitudes from the staff and the food isn’t good at all. How is this stuff highly rated?!?
EDIT: Yeah, I go and negatively rate places because I have nothing better to do 🙄. Your reply, speaks volumes and means you don’t care. A dangerous attitude to have in this business. It’s fine, I seriously doubt you all last longer than a year and a half. 👍🏻

I moved here from Long Island and have been searching all over for decent pizza and I finally found my spot!!!
I wish I could rate the food and the atmosphere separately. The pizza is wonderful. If you enjoy dining in a room where the decibel level is higher than a Nascar infield on funny car night , you will have a great time. In fairness, I am old and no longer enjoy the hub bub, we will be back for take out

The dirt pudding is DELICIOUS! I love the pizza, wings and cheese steaks. They have lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well. Great pizza and you pay for the fresh quality and ingredients!! It's a large pizza for the price and it's so worth it!! They do get busy at prime times but it's worth the wait for a hot and fresh pie from the oven!!
