An early dinner for two on a whim - walked in without a reservation. ATMOSPHERE: trendy, modern. Empty, without guests, and in the waning light of early evening, the space felt somewhat cold - indeed, the bare, polished concrete tabletop added to the chill. The lights above the tables were not functioning according to the server - we asked for the candle at the booth to be lit for "ambience," which helped. This place is a hidden treasure in downtown Roanoke! Only a few blocks away from the market square and you will find a great brunch spot. This was the best brunch we've had in Roanoke, a refreshing and delicious twist on brunch that will leave you wanting more!

The jazz atmosphere was great. Music is always good here. The only "bad"thing is it's hard to predict the times it's open and what's playing. It is more weird of mouth advertisement than anything else but that goes into what makes it so cool. If you can catch it open on Friday and Saturday then it's a great spot.
