We had Blue Ridge Catering do the food for our wedding in October and they knocked it out of the park. They set up a tasting for us a month or so before to narrow down our options and every single item we tried was incredible. It was so hard to pick just a few things to serve our guests because we wanted to pick all of it.
The staff on the day of were very professional and accommodating to every request. My wife and I were served a plate before everyone went up and we were actually able to eat on our wedding night. We also had a vegan guest and a separate meal was made and served to him without direction from us as to who it was for, they just got it done without adding something else for us to worry about day of.
Could not recommend them enough if you want to wow your guests with amazing food and service. We are still getting messages from people talking about how much they loved the food.

My husband Eric and I had the most beautiful Jewish-Catholic wedding in Bedford , VA. Eric and I love a variety of ethnic foods. We both cook and one of our top priorities was to have good quaility food on our wedding day. With me being a Peruvian native and Eric been Jewish , we choose our food to be Peruvian-Jewish. Mark from Blue Ridge Catering and his team constructed for us a authentic and delicious menu that represented both of our cultures. Most of my family came from Peru and they were impressed by our menu. Since they have travelled all the way to the USA and experiencing what Mark and his team had cook was impressive to them. In preparation for our menu, we gave Mark a few recipes from our favorite cooking books of Jewish food and another one of Peruvian food and from there he took off with creating an expectacular menu. Something else to add, the day of the wedding a member of the cooking team came to check on me and Eric to make sure we were satisfied with the food. You never know what you're going to get at a plated dinner wedding. We'll, if you go with Blue Ridge Catering, expect the absolute best food and service. The food, three different choices, were served hot, on time and got rave reviews from all our guests. I was shocked at how good the food was (a steak dish, an oricetta pasta and a paella). Thetomato soup dish was phenomenal and I was told they roast their own tomatoes. Served in a little pitcher, it was fantastic. The comments I got about the steak raved about how good it was. But, all the food was just outstanding.Not to be overshadowed, Mark and his team were fantastic. The service from all his staff was first rate. From the bartenders to the wait staff and the kitchen team, every single person was friendly, courteous and attentive to our needs. A special shout out to Emma who was the site supervisor as she made sure everything ran smoothly.Not only will I not hesitate to use Blue Ridge Catering again, but I would highly recommend them. Blue Ridge Catering provided the appetizers and buffet for my wedding a few weeks ago and I was wowed by every aspect of the experience, Greg made sure all of our needs were met and made everything run exceptionally smoothly. They went above and boyond with the service and even fixing my table arrangements when the wind had picked up. The appetizers and buffet food were all very delicious and he made sure that the wedding party was fed while we took photos after the ceremony. Highly recommend them and their team for any event!

To be honest, we didn’t “choose” Blue Ridge Catering. It is a requirement of our venue, the Taubman Museum of Art. HOWEVER. You. Cannot. Go. Wrong. Their food is delicious, no questions asked. We had numerous reports throughout the night from guests that we served the best wedding food they had ever had. So, while a bit on the pricier side, you definitely get quality.

We had encountered Blue Ridge Catering a number of times before our wedding, so when it came time to choose a caterer for our wedding, we didn't even bother entertaining the idea of anyone else doing our wedding. For the day itself, our event team was FANTASTIC. The coordinators did a great job making sure everything ran smooth on their side. The wait staff really took the fancy-meter up a notch. The bartenders were quick and efficient and fun. The food was absolutely, 100% on point (I have never had a single bad bite from them). Before the event, BRC did a great job of keeping in touch with us and making sure we knew our options. We had a misunderstanding that was figured out right before the wedding, and they worked diligently with us to find a positive solution. My words can't do justice to how pleased my new wife and I were to have chosen them. I would highly recommend that Blue Ridge Catering do your wedding (or any event).

Doesn't respond promptly (3 weeks) we had very simple questions and desires and they would take multiple weeks to respond and then lie and try and say that we were the ones not responding even though the email chain spoke for itself.
