Absolutely one of my favorite local gems. Bobby's is the perfect marriage between quality NY style pizza and the fresh artisanal pizza of California. My fiance and I have eaten here multiple times now and nothing has ever been less than perfection.The dough is crispy and chewy and buttery and full of flavor. All the sauces taste like they were made with love by my Italian grandmother.If you're visiting Roanoke or you live here this is a must!! Not only is the food perfection but the staff is always incredibly friendly and personal. Ready to recommend their favorite beer and pizza combination.The atmosphere is a laid back family friendly slate shop type of vibe and it just works. The decor is fun and quirky without being disruptively loud. They have lots of amazing local and craft beers to try along with the heavenly food.This time we had a pizza flight (three different slices of amazing pizza)Cheese curds, bacon, and red sauceChicken and bacon Alfredo calzoneBut honestly you can't go wrong with anything!!

Hands down favorite pizza spot in Roanoke; crust is excellent. Fun and tasty twists on toppings that are well thought out. Super nice staff and chill atmosphere. Lots made in house. Definitely coming back to try the homemade pasta!

Disappointing. This was our first experience and it was delivery. The driver was on time and courteous. The buffalo wings were very good, but the pizza, meatballs and garlic bread were all disappointing. The garlic bread was pizza dough with garlic salt sprinkled on top. Both it and the pizza were overdone, and by overdone I mean charred enough to be dry on the inside. The pizza was generally dry, the sauce was sparse and somewhat dried out and the Italian sausage was charred to a crisp on the edges. The meatballs had good texture and sauce, but were otherwise flavorless. I would like to think this experience was a one off, but being a bit pricey, not sure if we’ll give it another shot.

Food is hit or miss. There is no real quality control and that's a shame, because sometimes, it's great. Prices could use some adjustments as others have said.

First time visiting today and got a hot and cheesy pizza. It was not cooked all the way and had doughy crust. Very unsettling. The waitress did not seem very happy and never refilled our drinks. The atmosphere was great but don’t plan on coming back due to the unfriendliness and uncooked food.

Having recently moved to Roanoke from the Philadelphia region, we were on the lookout for a good pizza place (miss you DeLorenzos The Berg! @ Levittown). This was recommended to us by the staff at another restaurant.Wasn't sure what to expect from a strip mall pizza place. WOW, it was outstanding! Some of the best pizza I have had in a very long time. Crust was excellent (thick in spots ,light in spots, chewy all at the same time, excellent flavor platform for a pie and definitely made inhouse), toppings were abundant, just an all around excellent pie.Our waiter, contrary to what he said about himself, wasn't the worst and did not end up spilling food on us. You know who you are, but we promised not to mention you by name. The gentleman behind the bar made some excellent recommendations. Props to you both, because you made our first visit that much more memorable.We will definitely be back whenever we want pizza that has excellent flavor.(And next time, we'll be trying the wings.)
