we have had the worst service more times than not. we have not gone in over a year because of this. we tried again tonight and it was awful. food is good but service is terrible

We came in at 6:56pm Saturday night 3/29/25. We were a party of 6 with 4 children. The dining room wasn't that busy. The bar area was overly crowded. The entire dining room complained with each other about the amount of time we all sat and waited. It took us over an hour to receive appetizers after placing our order. We overheard a waitress telling a table that the bar was backed up so there was a wait. No mention of that to any of the families before we were all seated. They were not making orders as they were received. My kids were hungry, and it is difficult to keep children still for that long. Once we received our food, they got one of the kids orders wrong. I really wanted to have my kids try this restaurant because the food is good, but after this experience I doubt I will ever come in here again. After finishing our food, we have been here for 2 hours.
*note... another table complained to the waitress after us, wanting to speak to the manager. It seems as if the management had no interest in talking to any customers.

Just had the most tasteless chicken salad sandwich ever. Chunks of chicken with barely any mayo and just flavorless. Had to add tons of salt and pepper to be able to eat it. My companion’s BLT was even flavorless, including the bacon!! Floor was dirty with food debris.
Must be a hangout for some, but I’ll never go back.

Great place for a drink, and the food was great, too. I visited on a Friday night and it was packed. I sat at the bar and the bartender, Boogy, waited on me, and said the kitchen was really busy, but the food didn't take as long as I expected. Nice place to go, and I would frequent it more if I were local. ***** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED *****

Pretty good! The food I tried was very tasty and fresh. I got the Philly cheesesteak ($11.95) with onion rings ($4 up-charge), partner got the turkey club ($11.95) with beer battered fries ($3 up-charge). The prices are comparable to a chain like Jersey Mikes, but the portions are better and of course it’s local :) Service was very friendly and the interior is surprisingly nice and cozy for a local deli. We will definitely be back.

I came in and ordered 2 sandwiches to go. 2 sandwiches. It took them 50 minutes for them to be ready. I could have hit a deer on Brambleton with my car, gotten out and skinned it and cut out and cooked the backstrap before the food was ready. Ridiculous.
