Wow! This is the best French toast I’ve had in years, thick, fluffy, eggy, crispy at the edges…just delicious. The coffee was great too, best cup I’ve had in Virginia.

There’s also an “Art-o-Mat” vending machine, a great vibe, good music, comfy seating, and the restrooms are spacious and clean.

If I’m in Roanoke again I’m definitely coming back.

Their London Fog croissant was fire.

Really good, freshly baked.

Their pastries and baked goods are quite amazing. I recommend coming early in the morning since they're quite popular and will sometimes run out of popular items within the first few hours. Their food offerings on the weekend are tasty but a bit limited, and it takes a while to for cooked food to be ready so don't order hot food if you're in a rush.

Best bakery I've been to. Everything I've ever had here is delicious. They have daily specials. I had a raspberry chocolate filled croissant that was out of this world. Crispy layers filled with soft and smooth raspberry chocolate. It was devine. I'm not a morning person, but when I happen to be up for whatever reason, I try to go there for a treat.

Bread Craft in Roanoke is an absolute gem! 🥖🥐 Their pastries are divine – flaky croissants, delicious scones, and unique seasonal offerings make it hard to choose just one. I highly recommend their paninis too; the bread truly elevates every sandwich. It's clear everything is made with passion and traditional European techniques.

Beyond the incredible food, they often feature local art and charming, artisanal gifts, perfect for a unique souvenir or a treat for a fellow food lover. 🎁 As for accessibility, the downtown location is convenient, and while it can get busy (a testament to its popularity!), it generally feels welcoming. Parking nearby can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but it's worth the effort for such a delightful culinary experience. Highly recommend! ✨

Great pastries, small bites, and Gladheart coffee!

I got to try Bread Craft through picking it up at the Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg. I got a spinach croissant and to be honest I didn’t have the highest hopes for it, given it was sitting out all day. It is literally the best croissant I’ve ever had in my life. I am shook. 😂

Bread Craft is an absolute must-go! They use amazing quality ingredients. I'm normally very picky about ham, but their ham and Swiss knocked it out of the park.

As well, the lemon meringue éclair was delicious, from start to finish.

No vegan/ plant based options! Typical of Roanoke Virginia. It’s time to EVOLVE sadly, unable to even purchase bread without dairy and eggs which is totally unnecessary.

Bread craft is the BEST bakery in Roanoke. Their pastries are most like the ones I’ve had in Paris, France. Flaky, buttery, and baked to perfection.
