We went for dinner tonight and it was fantastic. We had the pulled pork special and an order of smoked wings. The pork was full of flavor, and moist and tender. The wings were crispy, smokey, and perfect. We liked it so much I bought the pork special to bring to my mom! We recommend this food to anyone looking for great BBQ and a laid back quiet vibe.

There are many options for good BBQ dining in and around Roanoke. That being said, if you want the absolute BEST with no nonsense and no unnecessary frills, you must come here. The excellent quality of the meat is beyond belief --- so tender, juicy and delicious. You can easily see how much love and care is put into the menu offerings by the owner and everyone who works there. Oh, and if you have some room left over after your main meal, do not fail to try a slice of scrumptious cake (the owner/proprietor explained to us that each is baked fresh daily). Highly recommended for dining in or takeout.Parking: The historic building features several eclectic businesses such as yoga studios. etc., so parking spaces come and go, depending on client patronage of those businesses.

My husband read a review, and we decided to take some friends from out of town. We struck out. They do close whenever they sell out. The following Saturday we went early--Home Run! The bbq is great. There are several sauces to choose from. We've been back since; once I find something I like I stick with it, so it's been bbq all the way. However, I am going to try the smoked baloney, and a piece of the delicious looking cake. The service is terrific and very friendly. You can dine inside or out on the porch. It's a great place to kick back and relax.

I dont know this man from adam and eve. He got me sitting outside his restaurant crying. I came an ordered my daddy some food. He a veteran from Vietnam. I told this man and he looked out for my daddy. I really appreciate that. Folks got a good heart man. May GOD continue to bless this man. He was a blessing today. I greatly appreciate that.
