Lisa was the cashier. She was hateful as soon as you walked up. She said "what do you want" when she brought the food she was hateful. As she sat mine down and started jerking the numbers up I said thank you and she just stomped off. The dining room was disgusting too. Food all over the floors and they weren't even busy when we went around 2:30
The food was good! However, Lisa who took my order was rude and dismissive, not a welcoming face for customers walking in especially if it's their first time experiencing this establishment.

The women working was extremely rude. I had never been there before and this was my first. I would ask a question about the food and she would scoff at me and at times wouldn’t answer my questions or would role her eyes. I then decided against getting anything because of how rude she was being. The person with me ordered something and the lady was also rude to her literally arguing with her about what she would get. We ended up leaving. It’s sad considering that they overall have good reviews. Maybe the older lady was just having a bad day, but either way people shouldn’t be treated the way she was treating use and they lost a customer.

We discussed being Gluten Free (celiac disease)and I looked at their Allergy chart.. for the menu.. yet I was served with wheat crackers and even got a wheat cookie treat as a substitute every time I've been there. (2x.) Too bad this nice place with good ideas had a wait staff who is unaware/ untrained of the dangers they create for those with auto immune diseases.Dietary restrictions: Not Gluten safe

2/9/2024 Overall, an amazing experience! Brother Mike got "fancy nancy croissant sandwich" he said he was expecting more of the variety of ingredients that usually are in it, and I had 3 scoop plate(fruity fran, cranberry kelli, and dixie chick). I really appreciated the huge leaf of lettuce on the plate and would recommend that all the people who don't eat bread are to get extra pieces of lettuce to eat the scoops with. Now i have another idea with 13 different scoops to choose from, all 13 flavors on 1 plate and plenty of lettuce leaf to indulge in all CHICKEN SALAD CHICK has to offer. $24.78 for the 2 of us, we had water to drink. Place is clean, staff was friendly, spacious seating, plenty of parking.

Chicken salad portions are a little on the light side. The inconsistency in soups offered can be a bit disappointing. The pablano chicken soup is arguably the best item on the menu however they constantly change its availability. First it was seasonal and now it’s served only on Thursdays. If it’s not broken don’t fix it. It should remain on the menu year-round. Perhaps the reason corporate does not see strong sales for this item is simply because it is not shown on the menu in the first place. You have to ask for it and even then there’s never a guarantee they will have it. It could very well be their main attraction yet they feel the need to constantly tamper with its availability. Simply offering it one day a week will not do them any favors. Personally speaking I will only be going on days they offer The chicken poblano soup.

Tried Chicken Salad Chick today. Don’t expect to see Hot Dogs or Hamburgers here, just fresh made to order variety of Salads with your choice of breads, mini side salad or fruit.Had the Egg Salad on Wheat with lettuce, side broccoli salad with bacon in a light coke-slaw style dressing, pickle and a cookie. They have fountain soft drinks as well as regular and flavored sweet teas.For a healthy lunch alternative, I fully recommend Chicken Salad Chick. Very delicious, clean environment and great staff.Parking: Tangle wood Mall next to Carilion Children’s Center
