Hadn't had China Lite in years, but had a craving for Chinese food on my lunch break so I ordered it and everything was so fresh and delicious. China Lite is one of the only places that doesn’t put egg in their fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was fresh and delicious.
Island jerk was closed but locked my keys in my truck so walked to here while i waited. Interesting dynamic communicating with them, make sure to read the paper menu and disregard the wall menu. Be clear when you order. They were extremely nice to me but witnessed another customer experience was kinda bad but in all fairness i think a lot of rough people wander in. Foods good, place is lil hole in the wall and run down. Sesame chicken was great.
Listen—if you've never tried theor steamed dumplings, your life is not yet complete. My partner and I get China Lite 1-2 times a month, and it NEVER disappoints. I wasn't able to take pictures of the food because we tore into it so fast. Everything we have ever gotten from here has been amazing. Highly recommend all the versions of fried rice and lo mein, as well as the Happy Family mix (one of our favorites). Also just tried the hot and sour soup for the first time...
