Overall 4 stars.. but be prepared to go to Jimmy Johns, Panda or Blaze pizza all next door to get a real straw or bring your own from hime/work. They have those crappy paper straws that fall apart with in minutes. Paying $20 a person we should have the option of a plastic or paper straw. Do better.

Big kudos to manager Rob, after watching his professionalism with a difficult customer. Customer had accosted an employee for a basic misunderstanding while preparing her food, and customer was unreasonably upset. Customer walked away with free food, and a freshly made bowl, and still yelled at the employees, manager and other customers.
Hero Rob, properly defended his team members, upheld exceptional professional, and very politely asked the customer to leave. I would recommend this cohesive and supportive team to any one seeking the Chipotle goodness.

I like Chipotle in general, but my first time experience here was disappointing. We ordered the bowl but the rice was halfway cooked and tasted raw to begin with, and the other things didn’t have much taste that we had to keep adding salt. I could not eat it. I would not return here.

This was the worst Chipotle experience I've ever had. The brown rice was hard and crunchy, the chicken pieces (probably half of the normal portion size from other Chipotles) had basically no seasoning, the portion sizes were abysmal, and the taste of the food was practically inedible. I had been to all the other Chipotles in Roanoke, VA, and it's our go-to place on the road. But if this was my first Chipotle experience, I'd never eat in one again. I would've wanted guac, but it was brown. We threw away most of our food; it was that bad. Rather than this being a fluke incident, based on online reviews, my experience seems to be all too common at this restaurant. The Chipotles on Blue Hills Village Drive, Valley View Blvd, and Colonial Ave are great! This one on Electric Rd. is a disaster.

Chipotle is life I really like the Barbacoa burrito
I've eaten at this location several times before and the experience had been great, up until today. I ordered a bowl, the rice was way too undercook or maybe just old? The rice grains were too hard. The rice was so off putting, it was not worth eating the rest of the bowl.

You can definitely tell the Roanoke Chipotle on Electric Rd is ran and managed poorly. The portions are small and the food is just meh. How in the world can one Chipotle be so different than the others? I'll tell you how...THE MANAGER is the problem. Stay clear of this place. Either the current manager needs to be replaced or this place will eventually close due to lack of patrons and/or employees (bc he treats them badly)
