After a long day, It ended with an unexpected pleasant experience dealing with Country cooking on Melrose (Roanoke location), for a “pick up order”. Customer service was friendly and respectful, someone even got my “rolls” for me. Quess I looked like I felt(lol) service was quick and My pick up was less then Five minutes. On top of that my order was hot and soooo good. So it motivated me to search for this website to give a FIVE stars. Greatly deserved. I will be back!

Friendly service as always. But when you force your employees to wear masks that are saturated with their spit and they keep touching those masks and handling our items, you are not preventing the spread of any germs you're only contributing to it.

I came to eat lunch today with my family and my server Alex was the sweetest. The cook did not cook my order right and Alex apologized and did her best to provide great customer service. I then heard her manager, Brenda, tell Alex that my table had been given the worst customer service possible today. We knew that the kids could not have salad bar but we tried and give them some of ours and she got screamed at by the manager again. She repeatedly screamed at both of her servers during my visit. I will be calling corporate. She needs to be fired. The way she handled the situation was wrong. She needs to act like an adult and I am sincerely sorry for the girls that were screamed at. I WILL NOT RETURN!

I was traveling and always do local restaurants. Absolutely the best food and great value. It reminded me of my grandmothers cooking. I would do a road trip just to go to this restaurant. Its about 4 hours from home.
