One of the places to receive the Best Home Cooked meal in Roanoke Valley. It's been a while since I've had a true home cooked meal experience (both meal and desert). Cannot beat the price for very good food and good-sized portions. My husband and I will definitely go back for more.

The food was DELICIOUS. The owners were very friendly. I could have eaten everything on the menu. I wish they would open a location in Atlanta.I can't wait to come back to Roanoke to eat there again.

Great food, great customer service, cute little restaurant, do not let the appearance of the area fool you, you will enjoy good food and A++ customer service. We will definitely visit again from Charlotte.

We've been coming here since they opened and this is without a doubt the best hidden gem in Roanoke. Love this place, these people and the amazing food so much we decided to get married here. Lisa and Jay went way beyond our expectations to make this event one to remember.Don't have a favorite from the menu because, no joke, it's all good. Burger, pork chop, catfish, Mac and cheese, collard greens, corn bread, banana pudding... will take multiple trips to try it all. Do yourself a favor, eat here.

I left with my belly full and my soul happy.I recently heard about this place while sitting at another local area restaurant. You know it must be good if people are thinking about it while eating something else.I went with one of my favorite plates; fried catfish, collard greens, and mac n cheese! It also came with a perfect piece of cornbread. The kind that's cakey but firm, just the right amount sweet, and a little butter melted over the top.I had to start with the collard greens first and I've got to tell you I haven't had collard greens this good since my friend's Nana made them when we were kids. The kind that simmer half the day, enticing your appetite.I even had to drink the pot liquor at the bottom of the bowl, they were that good! The catfish was perfectly seasoned, inside and on the breading, with lemon pepper. A little hot sauce was all it needed at that point. Finally, you know that mac n cheese you look forward to during the holidays? That kind that's firm but gooey, you get that little crispy part of cheese occasionally? That's this right here!To top it all off I got some banana pudding to go, which I can't wait to try as well since it was fresh made today!Don't sleep on this place! It's well worth a visit!

Ordered food at 5:30 to pick up at 6:00, their closing time. The food was ready when I walked in at 5:55. Food was amazing!! If you haven't eaten here you are missing out!!

I am here on a Thursday and there is a sign on the door saying "We Are Open" and the hours on the door says open from 11 am to 7pm. However, all the lights are off, the door is locked and no one is answering the phone. Clearly, they are not open!

On my first visit, I had the fried catfish dinner with collard greens, potatoe salad, and a corn muffin! Crossroads did not disappoint. It was mouth watering deliciousness!!!

My partner went yesterday for the chicken and waffles and we plan to go back today for lunch after his rave review.Update: ordered the salmon cake dinner and it was beyond my expectations! Everything was lick your plate good. From the potato and onion & cabbage sides to the cornbread. I don’t typically go with the cornbread when given an option to sub for a roll. They give you the option but trust me, you want the cornbread!

Next to the Greenway, Family - Locally Owned and Friendly, classic diner feel, 2 Pool Tables, and owners with passion for supporting the community...TERRIFIC Shrimp and Grits. What is not to Love about this hidden local gem near Grandin Village? Well, maybe I would like an upgrade to silverware from plastic...but that will change as they do more business? Note: I am not family, nor friend and was not paid for this endorsement in cash food or favors :D.
