I was looking for chicken livers and gizzards and this place had a decent Yelp review that I found misleading. I did give them a try and was disappointed. Food is deep fried and grows old and hard under heat lamps. Facility is old and worn and not very clean. Outside signage was down and damaged making this place hard to find. Bathrooms are kept locked. Only a few tables remain for dining. The owner was courteous. If he is rescuing an old business, I wish him well.

This place has poor tasting chicken I've ever ate. Chicken had no flavor, the mashed potatoes. Trash. So bland. Gravy tasted like it's sat there for 10 hours not being stirred.

I ordered this for delivery. Wow. Absolutely fantastic! Ordered 5 piece mixed chicken, collard greens, potato salad, cole slaw, peach cobbler and cheesecake. All wonderful. Chicken was cooked thoroughly and was tasty like homemade as were the sides. Highly recommend.

Just No! I would chalk it up to my southern taste that I am used to but it’s simply doesn’t cut it with this place. The food is MID at best. I went looking for exactly what was displayed and let me tell you that is NOT ?? it! I left feeling EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED…I’m sorry but y’all can do better than this! The Red Beans & Rice ? was super DRY and terrible…The chicken is bland as all get out and it isn’t satisfying at all…I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!
