Me and my family had a very great time, the food was good, not over price but look fancy, the place was very nice and clean, the location is great lots of parking space.
We were really excited to try this restaurant. The menu made it hard to decide what we wanted to eat. My fiancé chose the Tbone Mexicana and I chose the Fajita Quesadilla. Unfortunately, After completing 80% of my dish, a cockroach jumped out from underneath my salad. I’m extremely grossed out to say the least. The manager was very kind about it and gave me my meal for free, but I don’t see us ever coming here again. If there is one, there has to be more.

1st time here and my wife and were really happy with the menu selections and pricing. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly to us. The food came in a timely manner and was hot and very flavorful. We got the lunch specials that gave you a choice of 6 meals and price was only $6.99 each.
It had been a while since we ordered at El Rio. I have to say the changes that have been done to the quality and presentation of food have greatly improved and would most definitely encourage folks to go and enjoy! We got the street tacos!
Staff is rude as all get out and they will have you waiting 30+ minutes . Many other better choices in roanoke .
