We had a great meal at this restaurant. Authentic, attractive architecture inside and outside. Staff was super quick to bring complimentary salsa/tortilla chips. Damn near hadn’t even sat down it was so quick. They weren’t as quick with the refill. Had to ask twice. Terrific food and great prices. The two of us each had a dinner and it was barely $20.
The hotel recommended the Agave Azul and I am so glad they did. I went with a friend on a Monday night for the "MARGARITA MONDAY" specials. It was not crowded. I had the loaded french fries app and the chorizo/chicken/steak fajitas. I asked for it with no onions, and they complied. We munched on the complimentary house made torteia chips while waiting for our entrees. The fajitas came with both red and green peppers that absorbed the wonderful flavors of the chorizo....
Fast service and good, filling portions. Especially liked the chorizo queso, good amount of meat in the beef tip quesadilla. Wish they had more tortillas for the choriqueso, but it's just as good with the chips.
