We've tried this place several times now. Always a poor experience. 13 dollar steak quesadilla was soggy tonight and bad. Taco meat tastes like flavorless dog food. Sucks as we live right next door but this place is trash. Would love to have good Mexican joint so close to home, it ain't here though.

It pains me to write this review as this used to be the best Mexican restaurant in Roanoke. It is still very clean, with friendly staff and great chips and salsa, but the once great lunch buffet has been worse every time I go there despite the increased price. This last time (yesterday) they did not even have soft shell tortillas or cheese quesadillas. Thanks for the memories but sad to see how far it has fallen.

Daughter and I went for the lunch buffet on 3/14/24. Between eating and chatting we were there a little over an hour. The buffet is $12.99/person before taxes and tip. All the sauce bins were empty except one. At least 50% or more of the hot entrees were empty and never refilled. Pointed this out to an employee who seemed to make a.valient effort to restock the buffet but it also seemed like the kitchen and management simply didn't care. Not the experience at this location we are accustomed to. Definitely not worth $12.99+ for what was.available. Will go again for lunch but will be scoping out the buffet completeness before sitting down.

Excellent tasting food, limited English from our server, limited confidence in GF understanding, but had no problems. Great food in a colorful family Mexican restaurant.

We loved this place at one time. Seems like the food quality has went down. The lunch buffet is a good deal. Dinner not so good.

Their dinners are really good, much more enjoyable than the lunch buffet. Not digging lunch, but later in the day it is not crowded or noisy.

This was our first impression of this place. When we first arrived the waiter seated and didn't say a lot. He didn't give us a lot of time before asking for our drink order and that theme just carried on throughout the experience. They also had beer on the menu that was no longer available. The waiter rushed us to put our food order in. I got a burrito that I was very displeased with. It was covered I'n sauce which I was expecting but it was almost spilling onto the table. The carnitas in my burrito was burnt on the outside and impossible for me to eat. The waiter came over to see if I wanted a box and I said no. Before I could finish my sentence he picked up my plate and walked away. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Attractive decor, quick seating, and food delivery. Descent queso dip. Decent pricing on the happy hour jumbo margarita, but it tasted far too alcoholic with barely a hint of lime. We've been to two other local Mexican restaurants and are still searching for a.good margarita in this area of southern Roanoke.
