I’ve been going to famous Anthony’s for thirty years, and I’ve always loved it. The staff is always great! But, since the re-opening, the food isn’t the same. Not at all what it used to be.

It is now November 2025. This FA restaurant reopened in late July 2025. Place is great. Good service, food, music not too loud.

The food was good but the service was below average. Our server was obviously new and made numerous mistakes on our orders plus she spilled a whole tray of drinks down my daughter's back.

Food was outstanding, huge portions for a reasonable price. Excellent service. Booths are a little tight for a big guy and need to be rcovered. Place is clean.

Visiting friends in Roanoke and picked this restaurant based on internet search, menu choices and reviews. Food was very good, server was excellent. She was attentive and made excellent suggestions.
The fried dough sticks were exceptional . We had Fish and chips and salmon. Both were very good. We Highly recommend this location.

The lady (Sue) in front that took my Togo order was super sweet and very helpful with the menu. She took care of my every need.

Since re-opening it leaves a lot to be desired. Prices are high for what you get, I got a grilled cheese with a bowl of chili and this was at 11:30 am the grilled cheese had one piece of cheese on it and the chili was cold sent it back and 17 minutes later another bowl of chili and it was warm on top and cold the rest of the way and the waitress was no help didn’t bother to ask about the second bowl if it was ok or not just said anything else left the check and walked off. If they are going to succeed they need to re-evaluate service, and food.

I just left from getting food when I got off work. They didn't inform me of no sweet tea and I don't drink Pepsi so the young ladies weren't happy and they had to knock some of my money off . If you young and rude customer service aik for you

Was sad to see the Salem one close since my mother Esther, my sister's Rachel and Elizabeth along with myself worked there. Glad to see familer faces from Salem tho. Food great as always!

Interiors lighter and brighter, the place has a cheerier feel. Service was good, play we're doing breakfast till noon today so they were pretty busy could have used a couple more servers due to the traffic . Food was good just what I expected

New server had a few missteps but corrected them promptly and apologized rather than acting like we were putting her out which is so the norm for today. Whole family enjoyed their food and found the price reasonable in today's world.
