Excellent breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Roanoke! This restaurant is always busy and that's a great sign. You may have to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated on any Saturday, but it's worth the wait. The staff is always pleasant, attentive, and tenaciously working. We received our food within about 15 minutes, and it was delicious. I recommend the Market Veggie sandwich, not the healthiest choice if counting carbs and fats, but it tastes really good!

Vegetarian options: There are many non-meat, vegetable, and fruit options on the menu to choose from. Eggs, avocado, strawberries, cantaloupe, bananas, pineapple, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, toast, oatmeal, power wraps and bowls.

The waiter was Corey. He was great. The food was well seasoned and high quality, and took only a few minutes. The restaurant was clean, but looked a bit like it was decorated by the people who rent air bnbs. I am new to the area, and after some so so breakfast experiences I think this may be my spot.

First off my eggs were barely two eggs. The entire meal was served to me lukewarm as well. The staff all have these looks on their faces like "ugh I have to work?" Waiter by the kitchen where I said had him arms crossed staring at me the entire time. Bud serve some tables or go home omg. Also the place echos so badly you can't hear anyone at all not even the staff. And if you talk louder it does nothing. Such a mediocre place that should not be charging $13 for 2 dry eggs and some toast. Absolute joke

Freshly made and flavorful breakfast! All three items we ordered tasted fantastic.

The restaurant has a great modern vibe, the staff were very attentive and prompt and food was made fairly fast considering how busy it was on a Monday before noon.

Definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast!👍👍

I've had breakfast a few times here and enjoyed the food.
Prices are a little higher than most for breakfast fare.

The food was not prepared well....eggs not cooked right and the potatoes were undercooked. The meal felt rushed.

Nice, attentive service from Gavin. Quite busy but food came pretty quickly. Would have loved a bit more seasoning. Parking easy to find.

Great place to get alternative breakfast options. Great food and service. Huge parking lot but will be tight for larger vehicles like trucks and vans.

Delicious gluten-free French toast, bacon & hot chocolate.

Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of gluten-free options. Food is delicious and fresh. Very clean & friendly staff. They are great to help with food allergies. Can't wait to go back!!!!

The food is great the service is great., once your are seated. Weekend wait time is horrible. We were told 15 minutes. It is now 40 minutes. A 2 top has been vacant for 30 minutes. Poorly managed not enough staff. Big emphasis on carry-out. Hire more people you are losing business.

I come in First Watch all the time. I've always had good service the waitresses and waiters are great. The assistant female manager that works the front is wonderful and other managers are great except ,I hate to be rude, but the heavier male manager with the beard. I have watched this manager on several occasions kick food under tables instead of cleaning it up like the other employees. His hygiene is horrible, doesn't smell very I well as I felt my stomach turn as he walked by. The dandruff on the back of his shirt was like the light dusting of snow we was supposed to get in 1996!! All of the other managers and wait staff are wonderful and will be the reason I will continue to eat there, but I feel like if this manager continues to be a manager at First Watch you will probably start to lose costumers.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and decor. My server was friendly, though extremely busy, so it would take some time to get his attention. The first set of silverware I was given had a surprising amount of dried on food on it, so watch for that. I was by myself, so I was seated at a little table near the entrance where many people waiting stood by my table blocking my site line to get my servers' attention, which did not help and took away from my experience there.
I ordered the eggs Benedict with ham and tomatoes, and both eggs came together on a six inch piece of Ciabatta bread. It was a little tough for my liking on the Ciabatta. I had to salt and pepper it for any flavor to come through
It could have used more bechemel sauce.
It came with a side of fried potatoes, which were just OK. Again, bland and could have used some flavor or something in them.
The coffee was good and served in a stainless steel coffee carafe that stayed on the table so you could serve yourself when you needed more coffee. I'm not sure I'd go back again. It didn't wow me at all.
I'd say give it a try for yourself.
