Very First Class all around. Always pay them a visit when I come to Roanoke. Can wait until my next visit. Such a wonderful treat!!

Huge drink menu, very professional first class service staff, great menu full of great flavors. Needs to be a sign that is visible in Roanoke location though, we were standing right in front of it and couldn't find it LOL. Great dining experience would 10/10 go back

Great relaxed service. We enjoyed a ribeye and a filet which were delicious. Sides of brussel sprouts and baked potato were very good as well. Caesar salad was bland and non remarkable Look forward to coming back

We enjoyed our porterhouse steak the bernaise sauce was adequate. The oysters Rockefeller were good, the potatoes gratin were good. The bananas foster and ice cream were very good! The front dining room has a lot of ambiance -pretty lighting. Ask to be seated in the front dining room!

We've always used this restaurant for special occasions, and have always been completely satisfied. However, last nights visit was a little disappointing. The service has always been impeccable, but we noticed a slight decline early in our visit, and a more noticeable decline when a group of 14 people arrived and sat close by. My dish had to be sent back because it was over cooked and dry, but they did replace it with an entrée that was much better. Also, we noticed that while they have over 30 variations of martinis, other more common cocktails were nowhere to be found on the drink menu. Since we were celebrating a birthday, I received a complementary dessert. In past years, it has come to our table, warmed with a scoop of ice cream. This year it was room temperature with no ice cream. So we got it to go. Disappointing that the one place that's always been at the top of our special occasion list, now ranks lower. The one thing that hasn't changed, is the “over the top”prices, but we don't go there for a value meal, so we know in advance what to expect. However, for the price, you also expect a higher level of attention and service that seems to no longer exist..

Where do I start? The stuffed mushrooms were devine. The filet was the best steak that I have had in a long time! My husband really enjoyed his steak too. The brussels sprouts were awesome. They give you a lot of asparagus!! For dessert my husband enjoyed his molten lava cake and I had the cheesecake. The service was impeccable. We will be back!

Poor service, steak was overcooked and potatoes tasted old, cappuccino took 20 minutes to deliver

Frankie Rowland's is a first class restaurant. Our table of 6 ordered 6 different entrees and all were just Delicious! Appetizers, sides, and salads were good too but the main entree stole the show. The snickerdoodle martini was a perfect way to start the evening. You are never rushed and it's truly white glove service that you don't find very often but still a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

We wanted to experience eating at higher end steakhouse. The food was excellent. I personally order grass feed beef for my home, and the filet was even more tender than what I get. I was impressed by that. The mashed potatoes were the best I have had. Service was good. If I had a complaint it would be my desert was not as good as my meal. But in all fairness, we didn't come for the desert. Good service, good food, and a great place to eat. The experience was on the expensive side, but you pay for quality, and that's what you get. Go and enjoy

Loved eating at the bar at Frankies. Outstanding onion rings, Caesar salad and 14 oz filet were excellent. Good wine, perfect experience!

The lobster bisque soup was not good and definitely not worth the high price for the flavor. The porterhouse steak was good and we enjoyed that. The Pineapple drink was good. The biggest disappointment was the side dish of scallops we got 3 small ones for $39! I feel I've been robbed to be honest! For our 18th Anniversary they offered a complimentary dessert the molten chocolate (we got the molten chocolate) or cream brulee cake. It tasted rather old & dried out not fresh like you would expect. We have been here a few times and do so on special occasions. This will be our last time at Frankie Rowland's and we won't recommend it to family or friends anymore.

Food, service and location were outstanding. Steak was tender and full of flavor. Would eat here again anytime I'm in the area.

The chef outdid himself or herself with the seafood and steak. We celebrated my birthday and felt special and relaxed while our waitress handled everything. The waitress was awesome!! Thank you!

Always a wonderful special event at Frankie Rowlands. Jonathan, the manager and Britney, our favorite waitress always provide a superb experience.
