Tonight was our first visit and we were blown away! Great flavors, great service, and a cute little hole in the wall. My husband and I are very excited to visit again and try some more delicious food!

Amazing! But:
The food is truly amazing. The quality is excellent, and whoever creates the recipes clearly knows what they're doing. Congratulations! On the other hand, the service is a shame. The waiters simply aren't attentive enough to offer another drink or ask how the food was; they seem clueless and lost. This place has potential.

It was my first time here and everything i had was new to me. I have always wanted to try the octopus balls so when I saw they had it, I HAD to have it. They were delicious but I didn't care for the fish flakes on top. I kept all my meals as they were meant to be served and asked for no substitutions.
The fried chicken appetizer was crunchy and tasty. I got the pork bone broth ramen with pork belly. When I tell you that with every bite the flavor got better and better. This meal was divine on this cold February evening.
My boyfriend ordered the Katsu Curry and it was amazing. Fried pork, slice on top of a bed of rice, picked onions and japanese curry. What and incredible flavor. Honestly, our main meals were 10/10.
We ended the evening with mochidoki and chose the coconut flavor and Ube. I fell in love with the Uber flavor. I never had Ube before and it was delicious.
All in all i would absolutely go again. Their kids menu seemed really good too. Next time I simply must try the onigiri.

I visited Tokyo over 8 years ago. I enjoyed the authentic Ramen and the variety of menu options. This place stays busy so you need to get there early to ensure you have a table. Our waitress was so sweet. I noticed that all of the waitresses were very attentive! I look forward look forward to going back.

My wife and I got here just before opening for the lunch hours on Saturday. We were sat immediately, and drinks came right away.
My wife enjoyed the miso ramen bowl and made it her own adding her favorite ingredients and they made it exactly as requested.
I ordered the Gyudon beef and it was the best I’ve ever had. The flavor of the tasty beef soaks into the rice below, it’s truly delicious. We will absolutely be back. I will note it also can get busy quick, by 12:10 every seat in here was full so come prepared!

Service was good, got take out. Grilled vegetables were hot tasted good enough for the money. Got alla cart chicken which was cold and dry, most importantly, the portion was insulting. $8 for a gas station snack. Maybe its better if you sit down.

Ike's is a great experience each and every time we go. They have a dining area and a bar area with booths and seating at the bar. The servers are always knowledgeable and friendly. My husband was stationed in Okinawa as a Marine and says Ike's is as authentic as you can get here.
Located in the Lamplighter Mall: Parking is a little tight but there are usually plenty of spaces.

We went to Ike’s do to the high stars and reviews the restaurant has and because the owner of the restaurant is actually Japanese. Boy were my husband and I disappointed!! We’re originally from California and have a plethora of authentic Japanese restaurants to go to. Let me tell you, Ike’s pales in comparison to the worst of many of the authentic Japanese restaurants there. I had the hibachi chicken, which also states that it’s teriyaki chicken in the description. It was no way in comparison to hibachi chicken. It was dried out, had zucchini, and carrots, and onions sautéed on the side, which was overwhelmed by the grilled onions. And was borderline overly greasy. My husband had the hibachi steak Which he was asked how he wanted fixed he said, medium rare, and it was almost well done. He was disappointed in his food. We had so many different waitresses coming to our table. We didn’t know who was supposed to be our waitress. One of them ask if we wanted regular silverware or to use chopsticks we both asked for regular silverware, which never appeared. I had to go up and asked for them. We were both so very disappointed with most of the food we will never go back.

You can get better Hibachi shrimp at Hibachi Express on Orange! Also, at the Teriyaki House at West Lake SML! This was quite pitiful in comparison! Sorry, but I'm not paying over 20 dollars for shrimp with it's intestinal tract intact!!! Eee They were full of poop as well! Yeah not returning to this place. The staff were lovely though. Too bad the kitchen is lazy. Sigh

I had the gyoza, takoyaki, and tonkatsu ramen. All were great. I’m definitely going to come back and try the tantanmen ramen at some point.
