Me and my wife love eating here the man that owns this restaurant is a beautiful person and the food is consistently delicious. It’s so rare to find a restaurant with such nice people that own it and that genuinely care about what they serve to people.. I have been going here since I moved here 4 years ago. And they don’t ever disappoint!! Please give it a try!! ?
This unassuming place packs a huge punch of flavour.Walking up to Island Jerk you may not think much of it, it's in a trailer in a parking lot, very easy to drive by. But seriously you should stop in because the food is amazing. I got the ox tail and my husband got the jerk chicken and both were so flavourful and delicious. And the rice and beans were so good I would have been happy just eating them on their own!Completely worth giving it a try, even going out of your way...
Been comin here for years best food in the city, me personally I get the Jerk plate every time chicken always cooked to perfection nice juicy and not to Spicy ?️. The cabbage is definitely best I ever had with the juice on it rice and beans cooked to perfection ❤️?... went downtown Roanoke today and checked out another spot ?? I should have just road to Melrose and got the best in the city island Jerk ??
