Very bad employee on self checkout near number 5 self checkout. The girl had air-pods in her ear was on the phone the whole time. A lady in a wheelchair needed help the employee said she didn’t know how to help. Very bad maybe wanna train her better

if you plan on going to the deli in this store don't waste your time. Three out of four times that I have visited this store the deli is closed. It doesn't matter what time of the day or what day of the week. I understand staffing issues but this is ridiculous. I drive past another Kroger just to buy Boars Head lunch meat because the closer store doesn't carry it. Try harder Kroger.

This is the worst Kroger in the Roanoke valley. For months now they have been short on shopping carts They are always out of the small carts. Inventory is terrible. I've been shopping at this store for over 30 years. Today was the last day I'll shop here. Food Lion will get my business.

I believe of all the stores in Roanoke, it’s probably the better option for us. Gas points is a big perk especially these days. However, the Hollins Kroger is constantly out of things. Is that their fault, probably some. But registers being open is totally their in their control. Managers need to get out of the office and work the front.

I shop in this store about every two weeks spending anywhere from $100-$200. Today I go in gather my groceries taking AN HOUR AND half with an infant. And I get up to pay for my $135 worth of groceries and it says mine nor my mothers card is authorized knowing there is well over that amount on both cards. So I ask for assistance. The Man at the register informed me that if neither of the cards were working then it was pointless to try a different register. There is no way that none of the registers would work with my cards knowing good and well that I use both of them today and yesterday. So he said well I could take you to customer service but it's pointless if the cards aren't going to work. No one was willing to help me at all with anything. I spend a lot of money and was about to spend a good amount more. I was even willing to rescan all items. But I was told my service was "pointless". The manger stated that he would have a talk with him and insure it didn't happen again. Waste of my time! Will NOT BE GOING BACK!!!

I've shopped at Hollins Kroger for 20+ years. The last couple years if I've got a list that consists of more than 5 items, the odds are consistently against me that I'll leave with all 5 items. Today it was chicken wings. A couple weeks ago it was white sugar. It's not due to the pandemic as it started long before. Do yourself a favor... if there's something you really need go to another location. Now I'm on my to a 2nd location to get chicken wings! SMDH

Great service from produce and meat departments. Weekly deals are neatly organized and identified.App. Improvements can be made for quicker, more reliable service experience. Constantly crashes or slows down while inside store.Checkout experience can be improved by adding more cashiers and or bag personnel.

Kroger is one of the best chains of grocery stores and this one is a good one. Even at 9pm, the store was bright and well stocked. No trash or litter anywhere to be seen. Shelves were in good shape, they had everything I wanted for hotel room and road trip snacks. The parking lot was tidy, the cart corrals were empty.Self checkout worked well and I had no issues.
