This is the best hidden gem for tacos and fresh food. Amazing every time we go!! Fresh made food. Great service, great people!! The street tacos are incredible, I won’t go anywhere else after eating here!!

If you want authentic Mexican, then this is the place for you. Homeboy that Waits on you is a cool cat too.

These tacos have ruined me from enjoying them at any other place in town. And these pictured below are their $1.00 each tacos from this past Taco Tuesday. Even if its not Tuesday you can still score a tacos combo with a drink for under $10.00!!!! The steak they use is actual steak which they season on site - not some spongey steak-like filler you see in the "chains" around town. Corn or flour tortillas - you pick. Both are fresh and delicious.I recently cheated on their tacos with their Quezabirra and that was a magnificent experience of shredded beef, cheese and sauce. Did it fill me up? Yes. Did it help tremendously with a hangover, also yes.

Hallelujah! A real taqueria! We moved here from Houston four years ago and one of the few things we miss is the incredible Mexican food, especially all the amazing taquerias. Until we discovered Las Tapatia Taco Express we had just resigned ourselves to the loss. No so any more. Las Tapatias has the greatest food, especially their tacos. I suggest an order of tacos al pastor. Four of them for $7.50. Be sure to have them add onions and cilantro. The tacos come with two wonderful, authentic sauces. Fresh, homemade corn tortillas make these tacos perfect. Do yourself a favor. Skip Abuelos and the other fake Mexican eateries with their sawdust tacos and come to Las Tapatias for the real thing!

I tried Las Tapatias for the first time tonight. When you go through the doors, it opens into a large business with what appears to be a dance floor. The counter to order food is all the way in the back. I tried the authentic street style tacos (one pollo, one carnitas, and one asada). The tacos were delicious! I placed my order to go and the gentleman employee was nice and patient with me while I made my decisions about what to order. The food was made fast and fresh and they had a decent salsa bar. I will definitely be back and hopefully I can eat there next time. They also appeared to have a pretty full bar, but not sure if that is only open later in the evenings.

They have moved to a brick and mortar. It is a little overwhelming when you first walk in because it is such a large space but the food is still delicious and authentic. Will definitely be back again.

It seems like this location is constantly changing businesses. This is by far my favorite so far. Very authentic food and a super cool concept. I was very impressed with the quality of food but was unsatisfied due to the fact that my order was incomplete and I was missing items when I got home with my to-go order.

Fantastic food at a great price! Big fan of the chicken burrito, rice, and beans. Highly recommend!

I don't often venture to the Bonsack area, especially for food, but I went out of my way to check this spot out yesterday--and I'm glad I did. I ordered three tacos (chicken and beef) and they were delicious. The salsas were pretty typical for what I'm used to from authentic Mexican spots... spicy, although runny, but very delicious. I ended up eating my chips and tacos in the car waiting for a train to pass at Vineyard. Doh! I'll be back! I hope they survive being hidden behind Dunkin Donuts. That stretch of 460 probably has thousands of cars driving by throughout the average day but being blocked by the other building isn't helping them out at all. Show them some love and try them out.
