Great place to go if you have some time to wander around. If you get a specialty drink, it will take a while to receive

So.... This place is great! Didn't know what we were getting into coming here but I wanted a coffee (didn't get it). We were greeted by, I reckon, the owner who gave us the low down of this place. They have quite a few locations here as it's not a little coffee shop. It's basically a marketplace.
I ended up with a protein smoothie and a cinnamon roll. I could've drank another smoothie and eaten another roll, they were that good! My wife and I will be back!

I visited The Little Green Hive in Downtown Roanoke for the first time 2 weeks ago. I ordered a club sandwich, which included bacon. When I took my first bite I couldn't believe I had swallowed raw bacon. I sent a message to the manager, and when I finally heard back from her after a second message, I was told the bacon was purchased from an outside source and precooked and heated up. I told her I spent $12 and couldn't eat the sandwich, which went in the garbage. I asked very nicely for a credit or gift card, so I could give them a other try. I was told that neither could be offered. I was shocked that a restaurant manager would not try and appease a customer and argue the fact that the bacon wasn't raw when I witnessed it. I was already home when I discovered it, otherwise I would have taken the sandwich back. I would have most likely gotten ill if I would have consumed "raw pieces of fat." Needless to say, I'll not ever return to the downtown location.

Three times the barista shouted " large iced pumpkin spiced latte" three times she looked on at the unclaimed latte with sadness, and on the third said in a barely auidible tone " I'mma drink it" and then it was claimed by a woman in leggings. The Puertorican place is awesome.

Gluten free options. Smoothie bowls are my go to.

Not the most personable people behind the counter. Down to business though. One of the best smoothies I’ve had. Peanut butter protein smoothie. Was incredible and hit the spot before work. Definitely will be back.

Mango Lassi is a bit disappointing. Tastes like frozen and not fresh mango was used. It doesn't taste like there is enough coconut milk either.

Acai bowl was good.

A bit expensive.

Sweet spot inside the Marketplace. The Breakfast Sundae was delicious with fresh fruit ? ? service is always efficient and friendly. I love the coffee offerings. Their pastries are so yummy. I think they are fresh and local from next door. I like the rewards system too!

Mediocre cappacino plus the size is rediculous. Also the apple cinnimon scone is soggy in texture definitely wouldnt get that again. Outside of that the local artist support is pretty cool and the building on the inside is interesting looking.

Quaint cafe surrounded by local vendor shops. The food and coffee were excellent, and they have a great selection of other drinks and smoothies as well. Mobile ordering available! With the balcony seating, this is an excellent spot to get some work done!

My boyfriend and I were just in here for the first time. The experience was so good, we felt motivated to let the world know. The vibe is here is really cool, a great place to stop on a rainy day. Very cozy and eclectic. The service was great, both the cashier and the barista were very nice. AND, to top it all off, the coffee was actually amazing! My boyfriend got the light roast drip, which was delicious. My latte, as well, was very good. The espresso was good, the milk was steamed well and not over-done or scortched. We will definitely be back when we are in town.
