Cute little coffee shop in an open space that is also a little market but the market does open up much later than the coffee shop.
Loved that we could bring our dog in to hangout. The only thing was that the individuals taking our order on two different days and different people seemed a little indifferent. We tried the Purple Haze and the Honey Bee Lattes. Purple haze was delicious but the Honey Bee Latte had a lot of cinnamon. We also tried their Chorizo, Sausage and Cheese Burrito with salsa. Great flavor but there was a lot more egg and not enough chorizo.
They also have a lot of pastries and baked goods. We did get a chocolate muffin which was very good.
Overall I would recommend, it's a cute spot.
The staff were friendly and the Coffee was good. Lid cinnamon roll too.
Best Coffee in Roanoke! Red Rooster coffee ground in Malhkonig grinder, just the best. The food is really good too. Service is fast, and the bohemian environment of the old 50s bus station just adds to the atmosphere. Again, the coffee is the star
Lovely little spot for a caffeine fix.
Great place to go if you have some time to wander around. If you get a specialty drink, it will take a while to receive

So.... This place is great! Didn't know what we were getting into coming here but I wanted a coffee (didn't get it). We were greeted by, I reckon, the owner who gave us the low down of this place. They have quite a few locations here as it's not a little coffee shop. It's basically a marketplace.
I ended up with a protein smoothie and a cinnamon roll. I could've drank another smoothie and eaten another roll, they were that good! My wife and I will be back!

I visited The Little Green Hive in Downtown Roanoke for the first time 2 weeks ago. I ordered a club sandwich, which included bacon. When I took my first bite I couldn't believe I had swallowed raw bacon. I sent a message to the manager, and when I finally heard back from her after a second message, I was told the bacon was purchased from an outside source and precooked and heated up. I told her I spent $12 and couldn't eat the sandwich, which went in the garbage. I asked very nicely for a credit or gift card, so I could give them a other try. I was told that neither could be offered. I was shocked that a restaurant manager would not try and appease a customer and argue the fact that the bacon wasn't raw when I witnessed it. I was already home when I discovered it, otherwise I would have taken the sandwich back. I would have most likely gotten ill if I would have consumed "raw pieces of fat." Needless to say, I'll not ever return to the downtown location.

Three times the barista shouted " large iced pumpkin spiced latte" three times she looked on at the unclaimed latte with sadness, and on the third said in a barely auidible tone " I'mma drink it" and then it was claimed by a woman in leggings. The Puertorican place is awesome.

Gluten free options. Smoothie bowls are my go to.
Not the most personable people behind the counter. Down to business though. One of the best smoothies I’ve had. Peanut butter protein smoothie. Was incredible and hit the spot before work. Definitely will be back.

Stopped here as part of a foodie tour. Loved the atmosphere and the smoothie sample. Will definitely be back.

Mango Lassi is a bit disappointing. Tastes like frozen and not fresh mango was used. It doesn't taste like there is enough coconut milk either.
Acai bowl was good.
A bit expensive.

Sweet spot inside the Marketplace. The Breakfast Sundae was delicious with fresh fruit ? ? service is always efficient and friendly. I love the coffee offerings. Their pastries are so yummy. I think they are fresh and local from next door. I like the rewards system too!
