Is this restaurant closing? All pictures have been removed from the walls, the Logan’s sign from behind the host desk is gone, the windows have fingerprints all over, the tables and floors are sticky, the booth seats have cracks in the leather. On Saturday the place had roughly 20 customers total. 10 years ago, this restaurant was THE place to eat in Roanoke. Food was not up to par compared to a year ago.

I have to admit I didn’t eat here. Why? Because when we walked into the bar area, our shoes were literally sticking to the floor so we turned around and leftAnd shouldn’t a steak house smell GOOD when you walk in ? Not this place The only way to describe the smell was old FUNK

I came in early around 3 pm to miss the crowd. Waitress came to our table. We ordered our drinks, then later ordered our food. That included and appetizer. We waited over 40 minutes, I asked the waitress how much longer. She said it was due to a staff change over. I said could we at least get our appetizer. She brought it to the table, it was cold. Then after 15 more minutes, I asked for the manager. He brought our food, but had attempted to give our food to the table behind us. Then he came to my table. Never once did he try to explain the reason for what happened or take responsibility for it. I told him I no longer the food because we had waited for over an hour. While 6 table was served and had already lift. Just said ok have a good night then. I have never had the worst experience at a restaurant before. No accountability what so ever. They were not busy to warrant this behavior. Will never go there again. I would in the past been very loud, but I never raised my voice , I just walked out. Because I didn't want to be labeled as a Karen. I enjoy going out and eating at restaurants, relaxing. But this really just showed me, that customers can be treated badly and it's ok. And we are asked to pay for it as well.
Me and my husband were visiting Roanoke Rapids NC and had lunch at Logan’s Roundhouse. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming.The food was horrible.I had mash potatoes as a side of my steak and literally couldn’t eat it because it smelled and test like a cow poop.The steak test like charcoal.For that lunch we paid $90 and it was horrible.The two starts I’m giving are for the waitress.If I was an owner of this restaurant I would fire all the kitchen staff led by the chef!

The food took a long time to be served. They didn't make the drinks right, the 1st time.... People who came after us were more prioritized!I came back tonight, on 4/13/2024Which was a mistake. I order my takeout through doordash.... After I received a text that my order was ready. I went into the franchised to pick my food up. I waited up 35mins before one of the staff communicated "that they were out of chicken wings." And then I asked if I could get a substitute, which was chicken tenders. They said " yes"... 45 mins when by, and other people came in, received their food, and left. I asked to speak to the manager twice, and the manager refused to speak to me. So I canceled my order and left. This is actually my 3rd time at Logans at Valley View, and I never had a good experience with the staff. Lack of communication and compassion. I would never go there again!!!

Got there early to get a table for my family of four sit there for 10 minutes had no service had to stop someone and ask them who was my waiter is i was told this section did not have a waiter was moved to a different table wait another 15 minutes before we got our drink order 45 minutes later food comes out kids food is hot my wife's food was cold pasta was hard. Kids eat their food my wife and I had to go to Chick-fil-A after.

No greeting. Staff seemed annoyed. Told us our group of 10 would have to wait an hour even tho the place was empty. Had to sit at the bar, which was also empty. Mediocre at best.
Dirty and worn out looking. Greeter handed us our silverware and menus and told us to find a seat. Glasses had cracks on the edges. Table was sticky, had waitress wipe off table and it was still sticky. Considered leaving before ordering but decided to stay.

Just finished lunch. Server called out and hostess sat us in her area and forgot to tell another server to get our table. 20 minutes to have order taken. Waitress didn't know what a PBR was. Got our meals, lukewarm, at best, sweet potato, forgot to bring caesar salad until end of meal. Did bring extra rolls to take home. Lastly ant crawled across table when we sat down. Just not the best meal and not what I was expecting. Granddaughter said green beans and fries heavily salted.

We ordered two bowls of potato soup via Door Dash and what we got was two bowls of greasy water, there was a rancid smell as well. I called about it and the manager was too busy cooking to come to the phone. The lady I spoke with said "guess we were running out and they scooped up what was left in the pot." Really???? Was told that I could drive to Valley View for a refund, I chose to get a Door Dash refund instead.Dietary restrictions: I am not going to eat food that appears dangerous to consume.
