Very pleased with the food and the exceptional service. Went around lunch time so was kinda busy and there was a wait for the food. Highly recommend.

Food was excellent. Honestly the only critique I have is I would’ve liked the tortilla chips to be warm when they brought them out. Like seriously. The food was that good. And everyone was very friendly.

Food isnt that good. The chips with the cheese & salsa were so hard i thought i was gonna chip a tooth. The rice was ok at best the beans weren’t good. I got the taco box with steak, the steak was ok i didn’t like i didn’t get asked what i wanted on my taco & they charge extra for cheese on them the soft shells werent good either. Not at all worth the money. The place is cute inside tho.

Hands down the best tacos in Roanoke, now that I think I've had tacos everywhere else.
Check out the weekly specials, including two Tuesday deals.

Best pozole in Roanoke and probably anywhere in VA. Also, the lengua and carnitas tacos are delicious!

I felt like I wasted my money, I ordered two types of meat and both had too many fats, every bite I found a fat one, and also the service was not good at all

We stopped here on a road trip and they were very kind, top notch customer service and a great deal on tacos. $8 for 4 tacos any day of the week. A steal. We got the campechanos and al pastor tacos with a small side of chips and guacamole. The tacos were incredible and the chips and guacamole were solid. The food was ready pretty quickly and the man behind the counter was helpful with some answers to our questions about local resources we needed.
Parking: Parking is in the back! Maybe about 12 spots.

Very tasty, the carnitas are great. Even compared to Tijuana or San Diego street tacos.

The alpastor and carnitas for taco Tuesday were so good I had to come back and try the steak!! Probably going to eat here a couple times a week for the rest of my life. Wish I would have stopped in and tried this place sooner!

Best Mexican food we've ever had. Husband had al pastor tacos and I had Lupita's bowl with pollo (chicken). Had to wait a bit but it was well worth it. Hot, fresh, homemade. As far as we know, authentic. Mexican bottled sodas and beers and cucumber water and other drinks available. Tiny place but more parking and seating than it first appeared. Wish it were near home.
