McAlister’s is great for everything from small lunches to large gatherings! As a Real Estate Agent who adores our beautiful Blue Ridge Valley, it’s refreshing to see local businesses putting their best foot forward for our community. I recently enjoyed an extended weekend lunch with a friend and my business intern, and the space was clean and organized—even during the lunch rush! I was so impressed that I used them again for my very first Home Buyer Education Seminar with Virginia Housing. Nothing was missing—the napkins, cutlery, and sauces were fully stocked and ready to go! Whether it’s for family fun or a formal event, McAlister’s always comes to mind with their homegrown service.

Sandwiches are good. I have tried the French Dip and the Italian. The app makes it easy to add jalapeños and roasted peppers and see all of the toppings choices.
The half sandwich and half salad deal is a pretty good portion. They fill the plate with the salad, and a half sandwich is pretty light. So I would order that if you are more hungry for variety, or want a decent sized salad and to taste test a small sandwich.
The potato salad can be substituted for chips on the full sandwich meal for an upcharge and is worth it. The potato salad is pretty good and homemade it appears.
Their tea is pretty good. I am not really into the flavored tea products, but they have several to choose from if you are.
They have a monthly tea club where you can get a glass of tea daily for 30-day price of $7.99 from the date of purchase it looks like, so you dont have to start at the first of the month.
I plan to try more of the sandwiches and salads with the combo special to see what sandwich I like best and to have some variety to look forward to when I visit.
Their takeout is convenient as well. They put the order on a shelf area by last name. They are pretty quick with their service and restaurant is kept clean.

We enjoyed our stop this evening on our way home. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful in ordering. She even offered food for dietary restrictions and said that we could customize our order. We highly recommend going there. Service was excellent and our food arrived quickly.

Music is too loud. Persons taking orders can not hear what you say and the wait staff also struggle to hear you as a customer. Customers come for food and to be able to chat with friends, family which is difficult with blaring music.Music should be much lower and better songs. Songs played are those teenagers listen to while the customer base are NOT teenagers! Thank you for keeping all of this in mind managers!

We use McAlisters often for catering and they always do an exceptional job. They are friendly, on time with orders, and always get the order correct. Mariah has helped me in the past and was so lovely to work with. The entire team works very well together and the food is always delicious!

Family and I used to eat here once a week. Used to be a great sandwich shop, not anymore. You can see from the photos that this business does not care what comes out of their kitchen. FYI, this is supposed to be a club 😒... not even cut into 4's... GARBAGE.

Picked a DoorDash up and there’s a designated shelf for DoorDash orders, so I’m sitting beside it because the order wasn’t on the shelf so I assume it isn’t ready. The staff was just goofing off and chit chatting as I’m sitting there and they all saw me sitting there and eventually I just get up and ask if the door Dash was being worked on and the guy goes “oh no it’s sitting right here” behind the counter. Either acknowledge people when they come in, or sit the door dash on the shelf where it belongs so we can get the order and I wouldn’t have wasted 5 mins sitting there

My favorite restaurant! We visit weekly and love the variety of options. The choose two is a fantastic choice when I am stuck between 2 great options m, I can have both. The staff is great and I know several employees by name. Shout out to Karen Sue and her wonderful service. The restaurant is always clean, even when every table is occupied. The staff works hard to keep the tables clean. I love being able to sit outside when the weather is nice and enjoy one of their specialty cookies. 10 out of 10 love our local McAlister's. Rip to the prior manager. Is is missed my his customers.
