Mellow Mushroom Roanoke

We had an amazing time this evening at Mellow Mushroom in Roanoke. Kailey, our server was amazing! She was on top of everything and took time to interact with our kids. They never made us feel pressured or that our kids were being too loud. From management, to hosts, and servers everyone was friendly and greeted us with a smile. My kids absolutely loved everyone. I recommend Kailey for anyone looking for a friendly face and a server that is on top of it!

Mellow Mushroom has become our family’s go-to spot! The pizza is always spot on, and the staff makes every visit feel so welcoming. Our kiddo loves it here too, which is a huge win for us. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, fantastic service, and a fun, kid-friendly atmosphere, but Mellow Mushroom really does. We come back again and again because it’s THAT good.

i wish we had a mellow mushroom where i’m from because this place was amazing!!!🤩 the service was great and we didn’t have to wait long even tho we had a big party; the food was sooo good, and our waitress was very friendly 🧡 love this place!!

Just moved into the neighborhood a couple weeks ago and had a great experience at Mellow Mushroom today. Called ahead for pickup, everyone was polite and down to earth, pizza was delicious. Will be back!

I ordered a half of a meatball hoagie. Marinara was fine but the meat was horrible. I thought it would be hamburger meat or a really good mix of pork and hamburger because good meatballs are usually a combination of the two. Even appearance here was not inviting. After tasting, I sliced the meatball. It was dense and brownish black with seasonings, but the taste was truly weird. It reminded me of a type of sausage that was hung in super markets for sale in Poland in 1990, and tasted like it dated from that time! I was afraid to eat more. I ordered a burger with cheese to replace it, and told the waiter I would pay for the hoagie. The burger was so-so in taste and very greasy. I had a pile of napkins until I was finished. Now I am waiting for indigestion to set in. I have no complaint about their pizzas so far, and will stick to eating just that!

We had the meatball sub. It was fantastic. Will definitely return.

The food is really good, my only thing that I was annoyed with is our server said that they don't do birthday announcements and they did it for the table directly across from is! Not a huge thing but either do it for everyone or not at all!

Chain pizza place with chain pizza problems. Too busy to greet customers, too busy to care. We waited 10 minutes before leaving without wait staff saying hello or even taking our drink order.

Visiting family and decided to bring my nieces and son to Mellow Mushroom for their first time and we enjoyed the food and customer service from Katie. She was awesome. The large cheese pizza was good, her recommendation on the wing flavor sweet thai ✅ and the buffalo chicken and hamburger was also good.
