I’m a native from the Chicago metropolitan area so I could be very biased since I’m now in a predominantly white area. However, this was the worst Chinese buffet I ever had. The reviews are very deceiving. I left to go find somewhere else to eat. The quality of food had some of the worst after tastes and flavor that I can’t describe. Some of the food had this weird chemically taste that was so off putting. Honestly, my kid didn’t enjoy it! And I left after only a plate and a half eaten salad. Buying nasty food hurts pockets but mostly hurt hearts 😭
Update: my stomach was upset after eating this. Stomach pains and nausea and bathroom trips.

This has before our Chinese food place of choice since moving to the area. The people running the business have been genuinely friendly and have gone out on their way to ensure that our experience was great.
Place is run down and in need of updating. Food is mostly fried with less vegetable dishes. Menu hasn’t changed in the 20 years I’ve known about this. Prices are too high for quality. With low expectations, you’ll be fine.

Great place to eat, with good flavors and lots of variety. Lunch time is great for price and variability. Staff and waitresses are sweet and very nice attitudes, at least the ones I had do.

Great place to eat a buffet of Chinese and it's very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend anyone to eat here and you will not be disappointed I've eaten here several times and I'll come back very soon it's definitely worth the 45 min to hour drive. 😋😊👍

It is a buffet with a wonderful variety of dishes. The staff is very friendly. Seating was immediate. There were many traditional dishes and several dishes that I haven't tried before such as triple mushroom tofu, coconut chicken and vegetable curry noodles. All of the dishes were delicious. Atmosphere, decor and the background music is very nice.I definitely recommend the Red Palace. I will definitely eat here when I am back in town. Enjoy😊

The absolute fewest and crappiest choices you can have for a buffet. Everything was cold and unappetizing, staff were all on their phones. The food looked like it hadn't been replaced in HOURS. Absolutely awful, DO NOT COME HERE. I should've known when the restaurant was EMPTY on a Saturday.

This isn't my first visit, but first in a long time. Came here around 5pm and paid a little over $14 for the buffet. None of the food was all that fresh, and most of what I had seemed to have sat there long enough to get crunchy. The lo mein was fantastic, though. Service was great as well.
Overall, eh? Come if you want to. There IS some good food here.
