Best Chinese food in town, but that doesn't mean it's great: just means all the others are worse. I'm convinced that most of the meat on the buffet is as advertised, which is nice, given than the neighbors just a mile away can't say that. If you're hungry, you'll get plenty of decent food at Red Palace, and the service is fine.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veg on the bar.

Very nice lunch or dinner buffet. Food is well prepared, decent variety, and clearly labeled. Buffet area and table are clean. Atmosphere is good for a solo lunch or family conversation. Staff is polite, kind, and efficient. Definitely recommend!

The food is straight booty cheeks. Everything was dry and looked like it’s been sitting for days. The Chinese donuts could be used as weapons if you had no bricks close by. Valley view is much better. Don’t waste your time or money. Any of the recent good reviews they have must be from people that eat chalk mixed with a side of potting soil. Honestly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Used to be good a long time ago. Photo of the brick replacements below.

Drove to Roanoke to eat at Red Palace on valley view Road (we have only ever been to that one ) and unfortunately found out after our hour and a half drive they were temporarily closed. So we figured we would try this red palace and assumed they were ran by the same people.Apparently we were wrong. The food was absolutely disgusting. Most items were cold and it was gross watching the steam from the warmers build up on the glass and then drip back down into the food. Nothing had any flavor and the lo mein and the rice noodles were like mush. They had something up there called fried chicken it was ice cold and hard as a rock the spicy orange chicken had no spice, the general tso was all dough. The restaurant alone looks like it really needs some serious updating. We left feeling gross!!

I am writing this review as I sit in the restaurant. All the food that I've had off the buffet has been cold. The waitress doesn't speak English, she's Mexican. No ones been by to refill my water which has been empty for a while. It is very cold in here. Even with my coat on my legs are cold. The picture I'm going to try to attach is of food the waitress dropped off of a plate & knew it but ignored it for over 25 minutes. All this time the owner has been behind the register with his head buried in his cell phone & only looks up if someone comes to the register to pay. This place use to be good when his wife was also here but sadly is going downhill now.
