We love to frequent restaurants that serve Chinese cuisine. This place is one of the best. It's easy to say how very good all of the food is. The General T'Sos is actually spicy. But I'd like to focus this review on the staff and ambiance here.
The staff are all very well dressed in dress clothes. They are all generally matching, so they all look very uniform. They're very classy looking. Everyone is super professional, and our server is always on top of things. Never an empty drink glass and any trash or used plates are removed at once. I have been here many, many times and have never seen them understaffed. Meaning, like, one server isn't covering 20 tables at once. There are plenty of servers to go around. Also, food on the buffet is usually replaced before the dish is empty. I know, right?
Anyway, I definitely can't recommend this place any higher than I do. It's tops in my book!

My boys and attempts to eat dinner at the Tanglewood Red Palace. When we got our food my boys took a bite of sweet and sour chicken. The sauce was like candy sweet and the chicken nuggets were like rubber. Obviously had been reheated or sitting there for three days. The General Tao’s chicken was ok. I had about three bites. Then one of my sons tried a piece of fried shrimp. He said it tasted funny. So we got and walked away. As we got to the cashier I handed him our ticked and explained that we were not satisfied with the food and that was we were leaving. He went to look at our plates and what we left. He then said he would only charge me 12.00 for the food we ate. Absolutely absurd!!!! I won’t eat at Red Falic ever again!!!

Awesome buffet with overall excellent food. They had a good selection and nearly everything I tried was high quality and tasty. Raka was our server and super friendly, cheerful and helpful. The glazed salmon and mussels with garlic sauce were absolutely fantastic. I would come back just for those two dishes.
The only thing I didn't like was the ice cream from that big metal machine. It was not good.
Note to the Owners; please get some Mayfield or Blue Bell Ice Cream or really anything other than that ice cream machine and y'all are golden! Highly recommend this place. We travel, but will definitely be back.

I love this Red Palace way more than the one than the other location for many reasons, for one the service is great at the other one however, this one has one of the sweetest waiters I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
I do not recall his name but he is diligent and very nice.
The Buffett offers a lot of variety and I enjoy the food very much !
So if you are in the mood for American-ized mixed with some traditional Chinese food and aren't up for Dim Sum, try Red Palace at Valley View
