Best Jamaican food I've tried in Roanoke so far. If you don't want sides you can get jerk chicken only which is like $7.50 for a good potion. That's my go to, their plantains so dang good too! You gotta try their brown stew chicken as well!

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Today I had the curry goat with a hefty sized helping of red beans and rice. Meat was tender, curry was just perfect, and I ate every bite. Just so amazing. Cannot recommend enough.

Absolutely delicious it taste just like home. It’s so hard to find restaurant that serves really good authentic Jamaican food. This is such a gem, the people that run it are very clean. Very neat and tidy. The food is delicious. Always hot. They have such wonderful service. I ate there two days in a row with my husband and we’re probably gonna go back today lol! If you are from Jamaica like me, you will definitely be pleasantly surprised and satisfied.

We came here after seeing good Google reviews. Melt in your mouth chicken with an incredible sauce and a perfect level of spice. It seems that the team makes everything fresh from day to day as they had run out of a few items (generally a good sign!)
The portions are so generous you might have leftovers to enjoy later 🙌🏼

This food smacks. I mean smacks so good that you can reheat and eat the leftovers the next day. I've eaten here at least 3 times and I have never been disappointed. Peas and rice perfect. Cabbage on point. I dont normally eat green peppers, yellow peppers, or red peppers except rhe peppers smacked with the cabbage. The other two times I didn't eat I missed out. Never again. The people who prepared and served my food had excellent energy. My smell sense is not good although I could smell fresh vegetables and spices and herbs. It was just wonderful all around. I took some curry goat to my best friend whose father is Jamaican and she enjoyed the food. She said is was good. So you know it smacked. She is a picky eater like me. It was all ❤️. I shall return!!!!!!!

I’ve ordered here twice and as someone that has Jamaican family, I can say that the food is authentic. It is the best that I have had in Roanoke.
I’m not a fan of rice and peas outside of me making it or my family making it and I normally wil just not eat it, not their rice. You can literally taste the coconut milk and the flavors of the rice. It’s soft and not very hard and stuck together.
The portions are generous and everything I’ve had is good. They also cater to the customer so if you ask for a modification to something they will do it. I wish the jerk was spicier but that’s because I love really spicy.
Beyond the food, the owners are very pleasant. I’ve only ordered over the phone and typically they are orders for a party of 4 and the woman is always patient and sweet! When picking up, it’s been reported back to me that they are so nice! I highly recommend this place and we will be adding it into our regular family take out rotation.
The oxtails are great. They’re so tender!!! They give you a variety of sizes as well. There’s large oxtail, medium and smaller pieces.

When I say this is literally the BEST food in Roanoke. I don’t say that lightly. This food has been by far my favorite thing in my year long stay in this city. My two year old son has been going through his picky eater phase since we moved here a year ago but no matter what he is or isn’t eating at the time he ALWAYS gets excited about eating here. This green beans are like crack to him. He gets legitimately upset when he finishes them. I am moving away, but if I could find a way to keep eating this place in my next city I would 100% pay whatever I needed to to keep enjoying this spot. 100/10 can’t recommend them enough.
To my guys working there (I’m sure you know who wrote this) Kal and I are gonna miss you. Thank you for creating such a wonderful thing that has meant so much to my family. If I’m ever back in the area, this will be the first place I come visit!
