Maybe it was an off day but I was disappointed in the pupusas - they were bland. The Bandeja Paisa was a Honduran version of the Colmbian standard and was pretty good - three meats and the chicken was especially tasty and tender.
Food was average but expensive, $20 for 3 shrimp tacos - those are NYC prices? There were cheaper alternatives in small print on the menu. The staff was very nice, but their English and my Spanish were sorely lacking, so ordering was problematic.
The food was not as good as expected. The preparation was disappointing. The service can be better.
People around should respect other customers while they chat and not talk loudly and use swearing vocabulary. Even the attendant was using the same vocabulary while chatting with them.
