My husband and I have been coming here for a few years, we've both worked in coffee so we're both fairly picky, and y'all - they're so good. The baristas are so sweet and personable and complimentary, and the space is smaller but cozy and welcoming. The espresso is well rounded and not burnt, milk is always steamed to perfection & never scalding hot, syrups are tasty and made in house. This is always my top recommendation to folks for Roanoke coffee.

I quite enjoy RND coffee lounge. I like that it's locally owned. I like that it has good coffee and before the bridge outage, I liked that it was easy to get to via Greenway/ walking. Now that it's a little less easy to get to, I make extra effort to visit when I can because it is worth it.
It's a great meet up spot (when you can get a table, sometimes that's difficult due to size of place.) Many of the baristas are amazing (I've only had one be...less than nice in the year+ I've been going). Overall, I hope it continues to thrive and I recommend you visit as well.

Great Coffee Shop! A "Merry Band of Misfits" who really care about coffee and the true meaning of hospitality. They pour that love and care into each cup, you can actually taste it. And what a great space, really feels like hanging out in a good friend's well-decorated living room. RnD is everything you'd wish for in a neighborhood coffee shop. They'd be a top coffeeshop in any city, I wish I could move them to mine!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Coffee and matcha were both incredible. My husband said it was the best nitro cold brew he's ever had! They accidentally left the egg off of my avocado toast with turkey, but it was still very good.
I am a single mom & this company was so kind to me. One of the ladies behind the counter jumped up to help me with the door ❤️ the coffee and chai that I ordered were both AMAZING!
