Good hot dogs and fries

One of my favorites but no free refills on drinks is ridiculous.

Vintage dive hotdog joint locals hotspot that rivals Ben’s Chili bowl in DC. Everything was great, fresh and the jalapeños were spicy! Additional points for exceptional French fries that were served piping hot.

Haven't been in years. Very sad to see what this has become. They now charge for refills almost the same price as the first drink to start with. A refill per almost every restaurant owner I know costs the company maybe 10-20cent. When they give you your first drink they try to load it with ice! Telling them to put everything on the dog apparently doesn't mean slaw. When you do get the slaw it's in a small dipping container and it's 80cent. The 2 hot dog fries and medium drink are not worth $9.99. The hot dogs are very small in diameter. The amount of chili is slim at best. They do NOT have to go boxes they only have wraps you have to wrap your food and put it in brown small bags. Pictures included, hotdog beside a fry to give size comparison.***I highly recommend to STAY AWAY from this restaurant as it's went downhill*** oh and the staff just freely make fun of customers after you leave. I should have taken a video.

Just as I remembered it as a kid

Place is Just Ok. Quite Pricy. Low grade hotdog and buns with very selection of toppings. No craut, no onions, no relish.

If you haven't been, you need to ASAP.

I am on a search for the best chili dog in town and unfortunately this isn’t it! The service was really friendly and informative, and it’s cool that this is such long-standing establishment in Roanoke. Food was fine. But really it was just a small hotdog with ok chili and ok fries.

The prices aren’t bad but you can get bigger portions and better quality for the same price elsewhere. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but I also wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid it.

Roanoke Weiner Stand No. 2 serves up simple, classic comfort food like hot dogs and fries, all made to order and served up quickly. The no-frills space isn’t fancy, but the flavors and value make it worth a visit. A classic, Roanoke lunch spot!

Not much of a menu. Drive through menu is in need of cleaning up so customers can better understand what they have.
