Vintage dive hotdog joint locals hotspot that rivals Ben’s Chili bowl in DC. Everything was great, fresh and the jalapeños were spicy! Additional points for exceptional French fries that were served piping hot.
I am on a search for the best chili dog in town and unfortunately this isn’t it! The service was really friendly and informative, and it’s cool that this is such long-standing establishment in Roanoke. Food was fine. But really it was just a small hotdog with ok chili and ok fries.
The prices aren’t bad but you can get bigger portions and better quality for the same price elsewhere. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but I also wouldn’t go out...
