My husband and I ate with you today. I can honestly say I've had better frozen dinners. Both of our meals were overly salted and therefore we couldn't eat much. For a restaurant catering to seniors, this is just ridiculous. High blood pressure in most seniors and salt is not our friend. Let people salt their own food. We will not be back.

While traveling through the area, we were in search of a nice local place for lunch & happened upon the Roanoker - great choice! We ordered off the breakfast & lunch menus - omelette & open-faced sandwich - both were great! Server was pleasant & attentive - also liked the little 'gift shop' as the entrance. Recommended!

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Real quality southern food, great prices, quick service, a clean interior, and friendly staff. This is southern hospitality! I ordered the stimulus package which includes 4 items and a drink for less than $10.

They have amazingly delicious French toast, and the bacon was perfect. Our waitress was super friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend The Roanoker.

Our first time visiting this restaurant ... what a great place to eat! The staff was courteous, prompt and friendly. We were there for breakfast ... it was very good! The coffee was wonderful! We will definitely eat there again when we return to the area!

This is also one of Roanoke's landmarks. I like their breakfast there the most. It is a great place to have parties and has a nice gift shop that I have bought a few handbags and such over the years. I don't know if they are still offering the service but we bought trays of ham biscuits for our Christmas parties back in the day.

I was with a group of 12 persons. The wait staff was efficient and courteous. The food was delicious and served quickly. The bathrooms were clean as was the restaurant in general. The spacious parking lot was welcomed.
