They were packed and the line was long, the food looks great but had to leave because we had children with us.
Blown away by my breakfast this morning, had to leave a review before I left the parking lot.
I had the fried catfish biscuit and added an egg on top, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. 😍
The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, it was so good that I’m afraid to order fish anywhere else in the soon future because it won’t be as good as what I just had here. 🥲
We shared a half order of blueberry Nutella French toast that was soooo good.
Can’t wait to come back next time I’m back in Roanoke.

Good place to eat Breakfast until 2 p. m.
Haven't tried everything, but everything I have tried has been good or better than good, little pricy, but above average portions. Very crowded on Saturdays,

Exceptional. Delicious. I had the hot honey chicken and grits. There’s nothing like this in the Midwest. 😆
The food is so tasty…really great biscuits! My daughter isn’t a big fan of biscuits, so the fully loaded Nutella pancakes were at hit!
Great little spot

Been wanting to go here so badly. Lucked up and got the chance. Was not disappointed whatsoever. I would've never thought about a brisket and egg biscuit but it works so good!
They are huge FYI.
They've got a lot of options to choose from which was nice not to see the same bland stuff most breakfast places have.
I will be back as soon as I can. I wish we had one closer (Blacksburg, Christiansburg area of y'all read this).
Don't hesitate on this place and go support. You are paying for exactly what you get.
Great job on the food SMBCo.
Vegetarian options: They break down everything on the menu for all types of eaters so don't be afraid to go here and eat.

The best biscuit I've had, I had the Bacon biscuit (I meant to order the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese, but didn't say it) and hash brown. The Satan's Snot Hot Sauce is also fantastic! A little goes a long way!

They hype is real. This place has amazing food all around. Amazing portion sizes for the price and it's all delicious, everything tastes homemade. The only downside to a place like this is the wait because it's a smaller restaurant that is absolutely crushing it.

It was okay. I think it should be take-out only or they need to expand their inside dining area because it was packed. You felt pressured to eat your food and get out quickly because people are staring at you while you eat to hurry up because they want your table, which I didn't like. It's just too small for dine-in with the sheer volume of business they do. I felt rushed and in the way because everywhere you moved there was someone rightthere in your space due to the overcrowding. Also the food wasn't too impressive. The grits tasted bland and runny like they had milk in them and they were barely flavored, they desperately needed butter. I got the breakfast pot pie and it was overall fine, underwhelming. Something was way too peppery, the gravy perhaps, and it was making all my food spicy. Also they use the american plastic-y looking sliced orange cheese on the biscuit, which I didn't like. I won't be going back again. I would rather go downtown for brunch at Bernards or somewhere else for the amount of money I paid and get a much more calm and pleasant dining experience overall. Even Hardee's and McDonald's is better, more reasonably priced and a calmer atmosphere inside. Even Waffle house beats it for me. I couldn't really focus on much anything else but the need to get in there and get out. Not an experience I enjoyed.

Restaurantji Recommends
The manager Sophie is consistently rude when asking for something to be remade due to restaurant error. This seems to be her normal demeanor that myself and friends have experienced. I often order a plain biscuit- no butter added because I do not like the taste and most of the time it is correct. It is only incorrect when the cashier does not type in “no butter” which is reflected on the receipt. The few times it has been wrong and Sophie is there, her response is a sarcastic “well they’re made with butter”. I obviously know that, I asked for no additional butter. Today the same issue happened, instead of acknowledging that the cashier did not write my request for the kitchen to see- Sophie mocked my request to the other front of house staff, even laughing when I restated what I asked for and that it is usually correct when I order this way. I will not be returning. As a hospitality executive, I cannot fathom how a front of house staff is allowed to consistently mock customers for their request.

Simply the best biscuits ever. The servers all know your name and are pleasant and accommodating. The owner is active in the local community, and the community vibe is awesome. Blessed are the biscuit makers!

Outstanding breakfast fare until 2pm. Large portions at fantastic prices. Never had a bad meal in the 5 years I've been frequenting this place.
Can often be crowded and seating is limited, but patrons are usually aware of this and are friendly about it.

Absolutely delicious… so much so that I wanted to petition the owner to open up a second location in NJ; my home state, because we have nothing like it up there. Incredible!! 😍
