Shakers Restaurant

After staying in Roanoke a few times every year, we finally decided to try Shakers. It is conveniently located close to our hotel. We arrived around 6:00 pm and didn’t have to wait for a table. I had their honey glazed chicken with a sweet potato and cinnamon apples. My husband ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos. There were three tacos, filled with around six shrimp in each. The food was delicious and our server was attentive. I highly recommend Shakers and can’t wait to return on our next trip!

This is my go to place when I'm in town visiting family. Love the tuna the green beans the Moscato you name it it's delicious and the staff is very friendly this picture was taken last October

Catfish was real buttery & rich (our fault, had no ketchup, wouldve been great otherwise) beans are awesome and so is the pilaf rice. service was FANTASTIC. lovely woman (that i didnt catch the name of unfortunately) brought our food out to our car without being prompted. and hauled ass at that!! thank you ma'am!!!

Wonderful food. Meals came out very quickly. Service was very good. Restaurant was clean and inviting. I'm just sorry they dont have any locations near my home.

don't order the Philly cheesestake, it tasted like wet dog

Server Brian was amazing - all appetizers, cocktails, dinner came at the perfect intervals. Food was not greasy for items that were fried. Everything else was hot & well prepared. Exactly what we expected based on the online menu & reviews

We've had the catfish with baked potato and crab cake with baked potato and both were delicious! The catfish was nicely seasoned and tender and flaky. The crab cake was full of crab and very tasty. Their baked potatoes are to die for!! So good with just salt, pepper and butter. Very tender. We've had Christy and Wyatt as our servers and both did an excellent job

Enjoyable food on the menu. Many options are healthy or can be made that way.

We had a retirement lunch for a coworker, on a Saturday. We were expecting about 20+ people, but we ended up with probably over 60. Our waitress was on her A game! They were accommodating and friendly. We never once felt like an inconvenience. Thank you!!

Easy 5 stars, there was not a thing wrong and everything was more than satisfactory on service, food and atmosphere.

The hostess was friendly and seated us upon arrival at our request a booth and provided menus. Waitress came in immediately after with drink orders. She smiled and was very friendly.

I connected with my son for dinner and he ordered the Cajun chicken pasta. I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye with two sides of sweet potato and steamed broccoli.

The restaurant is divided up by bar and bar seating. It's a bit like a sports bar with TV's. To the side is their dining room. Everything was clean including carpets and tables cleared.

Within 15 minutes our dishes pushed out looking fabulous. The pasta dis was enormous! My steak after cutting in was proper medium as ordered and yum. The sweet potato with cinnamon butter was over the top scrumptious! Broccoli was fresh and tasty. Our server did a quick check a few minutes later.

Close out was prompt and no issues using my card. Left a generous tip of 25% with phenomenal service.

Definitely would return.
