I was there 2 days ago, and I’m still thinking about the flavors that sang from the ramen!! I’m sorry it took me so long to find you, but I will be back. And I promise to tell everyone I talk to about you!!

Best ramen EVER. Eggs were expertly seasoned as well as broth. Super customer service. Attention to detail of special requests and just great quality. Noodles were especially good, too.

I see a lot of posts saying this was the “best ramen they ever had.”

I agree.

Ordered the tonkotsu ramen with spicy miso added in and I was amazed at the flavor. It was slightly sweet, which was quite unique and can’t say I’ve ever had anything like it. It was also perfectly salty, savory, and had an umami after taste that coaxed you into your next bite. The staff member, whose name I didn’t quite catch, will be seeing me a lot going forward!

This is hands down the best ramen shop around the city or Lynchburg, worth taking the trip downtown and fighting for parking. The only place I've gotten a properly cooked whole soft boiled egg, and broth is amazing. The owner is one of the nicest people you'll meet in the city.

caught the last order on Sunday at 4pm at city market downtown. wow. we have been wanting to try for over a while, and we were not disappointed. spicy ramen with brisket was also. generous portions of smoky brisket. vegetarian ma-po fusion stole the show with its creamy flavorful broth. delicious chewy noodles in both. yum!!

I've never had what I consider "real" ramen. The bricks you get for a dollar in Walmart don't count. When I heard that Roanoke had a ramen shop I made my plans. I was actually standing in front of the shop at 11:50. They didn't even open until 12.
I asked the guy what everything was and he explained everything. I ordered the spicy ramen. Don't ask me what it was called, i have no idea.
This ramen was hot, flavorful, full of pork, and delicious. I got a swirly thing on top. Again, no idea what it was but I ate it.
I will 100% go back. I will take my kids who love the brick ramen so they can experience real ramen.
I'm so glad I went; it made my day.
